Underwood White Meat Chicken Spread, 4.25 oz Can

Good pate option

This is my go-to protein when I am hiking through the city while running errands, need calories, and know that more, boring “trail mix” just will not do for me. Also, it is great for my 2 AM, what-am-I-going-to-nibble-now? situations when I am on the laptop, in the middle of trying to find where my code went snarky, and just *know* if I get involved in a major cooking project that I will forget all my previous work, then have to start debugging from scratch. I don't live off of Underwood — but I *do* restock when running low. It also makes a decent match with soft white (or wheat) rolls for parties — or can even be eaten as a vegetable dip or straight (but is somewhat salty so I had to get used to the taste that otherwise would balance out the missing sandwich bread!)

This is the chicken spread that I have enjoyed for a long time. I like Underwood white meat chicken spread it is smooth and tasty perfect for a sandwich or just for crackers comes in a can with a pull off top so it is even good for traveling. Makes an original treat an time that you won't forget

An old fashioned product I grew up on and Walmart is the only place I can still find it. Very fresh and easy to spread, on a sandwich or as a dip; it's a favorite of my family for great chicken taste.

Underwood White Meat Chicken Spread makes the best chicken dip around. It's extremely easy. It's my go-to to take to any event. The chicken spread blends with cream cheese nicely; just add a little Worcestershire and a drop of hot sauce and you're done. It's a shame Kroger no longer carries it..

My 6 pack of chicken spread had to of been shopped by a stoner. 4 chicken and 2 ham. I don't usually buy the ham as it has a gritty texture.

Very salty, top has layer of grease/fat that needs to be scraped off in can. Odd sweet flavor, not natural tasting. Better off with a canned chicken from another brand instead of this mushy sandwich spread. Will not buy again. Highly processed and chemicals added.

i never recieved this item and my order wasnt allin stock either as it was posted in stock im really upset with walmart it was fime until this order and no deviledchicken really shocked me walmart doesnt have good communicatoon i went to dillons thst night to get deviled chicken which was my main reason for uding a delivery to prep a lunch for the next dsy i mever hesrd bsck from walmart now have lost trust i thimk ill yry dillons for awjile waiting to hesre whst happend to the deviled chicken ive heard nothing

I have used Underwood ham spread for years and never tried the chicken spread. I'm sorry I bought a two pack. As soon as I opened it, I was hesitant to even try it. Watery in appearance and worse when I spread it on bread. I'm not sure exactly what it tasted like.

OMG, this was one of the nastiest things I've ever tasted. It was very runny, with a lot of salt. It tasted like someone put a little bit of chicken in a blender with some chicken broth, chicken skin, chicken fat, and a lot of salt. It has 470 mg. of salt per serving, which is bad enough, but I thought that tiny can was 1 serving. It's actually 2 servings, which means 940 mg. per can.
