This is the OG canned ham spread. We ate it growing up so I enjoy it but I understand it is not to everyone's taste. It hasn't changed in over 50 years, probably longer. I add a squirt of mustard and spoon of dill relish and it's delicious with crackers or spread on toast.
great fresh products at fair prices saving money spending less always staff willing to help out eager to steer you right foods fresh good for sandwiches other things Walmarts from my experiences I've had great success value that communications as well I'm keep going back foods always fresh and fits my budget
If not on your "prohibited" foods list this makes a good sandwich on thick sliced toast-- the bread gives you good carbohydrates and the meat is a shade high on fat, but it works and is filling-- regular bread is not nearly as good as thick slicce "Texas" toast slices.
This is good for a snack. (I eat this on crackers.) Is very high in sodium and fat. When you open the can, you can see the fat layer on top. The corned beef is lower in salt, fat and calories, so I am buying those instead.
Okay, this is a throwback to the 1950's, a staple for the pantry in case of dire emergency. It is a spread that can be used on bread, toast, crackers, even celery. It is a somewhat gritty ham spread with lots of salt, I bought this during COVID's early days as the grocery shelves were emptying. It is very shelf-stable, like for years. I can't say what its nutritional value is, no idea. But, as a child from the '50's I remember it well.
I really wanted to like this, but I could not eat more than one bite. My cat wouldn't eat it either. I assume that if you grew up with this, you might like it; but I don't think that you're going to enjoy it otherwise, unless you have a preference for canned meat mush that is overpriced.
Only positive, the can opened without much effort. Too salty. Yellow slime was on top of contents. Texture was gritty. Not spreadable, but you could pour it out of the can. To me, it was just gross.
There is a thick layer of fat on top of everything. I've never seen anything like this and found it totally repulsive. It is extremely salty and tasteless except for a bit over peppered. I will never ever buy this again.
When I opened the can it had brown and green spots on the top and a terrible oder and I threw it away right away. I never had this happen before. I will never waste my money again by buying this product again.
I had not had this in several years. I remember enjoying it with crackers so I thought it be a treat. What the heck happened? Watery but also oily and thin but kinda whipped but also slimy. BLURGH!!!!!!
