StarKist Chunk Light Tuna in Water, Wild Caught, 20g Protein, 5 oz, 8 Cans

For the 6 pack 8 cans teh unit price is very good. Starkist has some of the highest qualities for a canned tuna in terms of consistency and taste. The texture is very good and consistently moist. It makes it sufficient for tuna salad or even on a salad as a dressing. To kick it up a notch you can get a roll and light mayo and heat it in teh oven with cheese on top to make a tuna grinder. We had a horrible shipping experience but I think it very intellectually and logically dishonest to rate a product by evaluating shipping. The two are separate issues.

I don't eat fish nearly as often as I should, but an occasional Tuna can helps fill in the void. Starkist is one of the better Tunas. It of course, is one of the name brands and you can tell the difference in flavor to cheaper or store brands. I really like the tast of this. Whether I'm making tuna sandwiches, tuna casserole tuna salad or tuna patties, this is my go-too. It's not overly salty, like some. It has the perfect flavor. First thing I noticed is the bottom of the can isn't stamped with “Product of another country!” I previously bought another leading brand of tuna that was from a foreign country. I have bought a multi-pack of tuna every week for months for my cats, since their brand of wet cat food became scarce. But I'm concerned for their safety if it's a product of another country stamped on each can. I would love a low sodium multi-pack of StarKist tuna without having to buy single cans. Hopefully one day. Until then, this is a good value for the money and the cats love it. Occasionally I fix tuna salad for the Husband and StarKist is his favorite brand. You won't be disappointed.

I buy this for my cat because real tuna costs the same as chemically processed catfood with chicken parts. My cat's coat is soft and shiny; and her teeth and nails are not brittle. Plus she loves tuna in water. Cats generally will not eat tuna in oil. So get the water version.

StarKist Tuna in water is the best. It's tasty right out of the can. Drain water, make salad, add mayo %26 cheese, spread on bread, toast in oven, Wala, kids love it as well as casseroles on the run.

product is awesome...except when you say no substitution on your walmart order and they give you vegetable oil ones instead, my cats are very angery...but when they do get it right its very good.

I have 19 cats, so I buy A LOT of tuna for them (they eat 8 cans per day), and Starkist is the only brand they like. They won't touch tuna from other brands. Starkist offers excellent tuna at a great price, I would definitely recommend!

This tuna is fantastic as a low carb high protein staple, or anytime you want a protein pick-me-up protein snack. It is very minced already so there are few "big" pieces. It works well in wraps, sandwiches, and salads for this reason. I gave it 4 stars because I like larger "pieces" of tuna when I'm eating it because it's delicious. It's great for portion control because it can be weighed with little effort, and also can be split doing just a little math for food prep or snack. It stores nicely in the pantry before opening.

I enjoy the and its great for me.l am not a sticky eater, but I need an occasionally a sticky eater, but I eat an occasionally. The ground chuck is very delicious my good spaghetti and whatever else you want meatloaf and all that thank you let me delicious and I like it because it's only me and the small chicken is delicious. I havent purchased tuna in a long time...years....the tuna I bought back then was chunky, to the point i could take a chunk out and eat it with a fork. This canned tuna today was mush...catfood like bits floating in so much water that once I squeezed it all out, I needed to open another can to have enough to make a deli style tuna sandwich. However it had no real texture and once I added the mayo, it was like dip. wont be buying this again. Seems tuna has changed too much over the years. Texture like catfood.
