I really like this pressure cooker and the price was the main reason I purchased it… it's aluminum and I really was shopping for the stainless steal but the prices for those were way out of my budget… but kind of glad I got the aluminum because it's much lighter and when it's full and I have to move it for any reason then that's where my real gratitude comes in…yes I'd highly recommend this canning cooker!
Walmart out did their self this time this is the post useful pressure cooker I ever bought. it's so wonderful you can actually fit a small turkey in this pressure cooker and precook it before baking to bacon extra tender. I just love it. The cookie tab is perfect. so far every meal has been quick at tasty.
This pressure canner is pretty darn good for the price. I'm pleased it as much like the one I used when I was canning at home when I lived with my parents highly recommend it. The only thing is to be careful when you put the rack in to keep the bottom of the glasses off the canner itself because it doesn't tell you which side needs to be up as a result I put it in upside down and had to use tinsnips to cut it so I could get it out of the canner then I ordered two more parts for it
I have a very hard time finding parts for this pressure cooker. It came with "I think" an 80KPA jigger weight. I need a 70KPA jigger, but the ones found will not work with the pressure release stem that came with the pressure cooker, not to mention one of the racks stuck in the cooker and I had to finally cut it to get it out. Now, trying to find a replacement has been a nightmare. If there is replacement-part's lists and/or customer service to get assistance from,I haven't find it.
This is a great product for the money. Other canners are way more expensive. The big problem is the gauge is not accurate. Luckily I've been studying and realized that the jiggler weight is a more accurate indication that you're up to pressure. What I'm reading from the other reviews is the pressure gauges on most units are faulty.
The lid is hard to align and put on all the way. It's like the lid is a bit small for the pot. But after several tries and applying pressure to the lid, a few bumps with the side of my fist. lol I was able to get it on. Rotating to lock it in place was another task. I don't think it was from the damage to the box upon arrival, as the damage seems to be just a few deep scratches and the pot doesn't look misshaped. I believe it's a design flaw that lid doesn't fit well. However I will keep it for the price and the hopes that in time and with use it will get easier to apply the lid.
Reopened! Not all things in boxes. Did not come with manual. As a new canner I most definitely would need a manual. I would hate to blow myself up. This is very important with a pressure canner. Second it did not come with a second plate to stack second row of jars. It was missing too. Was not a safe buy.
I bought this in Nov 2025-ish and it is now March 2026 and have used it several times as an autoclave for tissue culture and both seals got eaten up, literally tore while putting the lid on, and the canner no longer works because it won't seal-presumably. Regardless it won't pressurize. The seals are bigger than usual seals and aren't available anywhere I looked. I reached out to the seller about getting new seals and no response. Don't buy this. It will die in a few months and you can't get parts.
This is an initial unboxing review- I will add a full use review later- however it was supposed to come with 2 pressure relief valves- one was for 70 kPa and another for 100 kPa, I only received one- not for sure which one it is because it's not marked on like the picture shows. However, I'm sure I can buy some online - but now more money to spend.
I received the pressure cooker very timely, and the price was great; however, it was missing the pressure release valve. The pressure cooker is useless without it. I reached out to the seller to see if it was possible to have the part sent to me, so we did not have to go through the whole return process. The seller did not respond to me AT ALL! I will not order from this seller again. A simple response, either way (they could help, or they couldn't help) , would have been proper and I would have accepted their answer either way, but they opted not to respond. I reached out to the manufacturer and explained this issue and they offered to send me the valve. The pressure cooker itself seems good for the price but I will update as soon as I receive the pressure release valve from the manufacturer.
