These UPANBIKE Universal Bike Pedals (9/16") were an excellent replacement for my bike. Installation was quick and easy, and they fit perfectly. The platform is comfortable and provides good grip, and the reflectors are a nice safety feature for riding in low light. They feel sturdy enough for regular use, and for the price, they deliver great value. Overall, a simple, reliable upgrade that gets the job done without any issues.

I had pedals on my bike that my feet kept sleeping off as I pedaled. I ordered these and they are perfect! They were very easy to install and my feet have not slipped off at all. I am very happy with these pedals and would recommend them to anyone.

I had an issue with my old mountain bike crank pedals. They were quite small, and fitted with toe cages. The purpose being that your feet remained on the pedals, while allowing full power delivered on both the upstroke, and the downstroke. Unfortunately for me, one cage came loose, resulting one of my feet slipping out of that cage. and off of the pedal, along with a clumsy fall. I figured that since my serious mountain biking days are behind me, I was ready to opt out of these toe cage pedals and go for a pedal that wasn't geared toward the competitive edge. These replacement pedals are constructed of a durable plastic, along with a good reflective strip incorporated into each pedal. 4 quality strips visible from both the front and the rear at all timesl Also, the platform has a raised gripping surface to enhance traction on the pedals. This feature in itself seems like a big plus, however, at the same time it loses a star. I found that if you are wearin a flat, hard soled shoe, there's a tendency to not grip well, thus, allowing your foot to slip off of the pedals. (I now understand the benefit of the toe cage). I did. however come to a happy-medium, understanding that wearing a pair of shoes with some traction. An off road running sole for example, helps keep my foot on the pedals. My mountain bike performance as a result isnt what it used to be, but I'm 67 years old now, and should be spending more of my riding time on more mild trails, and terrain. I'll continue using these pedals for now, and determine if my review still leans in a positive position. Any changes (if any) will be a reflected in a possible edit in the future.
