I got this to charge a ride along toy for my daughter that I got for free on the side of the road! Charged the 6v battery perfectly! She loves it!
Good product for its price and free delivery it came fast and it works perfect it charges quick even before the 12 hr recommended time. The charger end tips are clamps easy to use it definitely recommend it to anyone.
Needed for a grandchilds ride on toy
Used the charger to bring my old 12V alarm battery back to life. First time, plugged it in for about 3 hours... no good. Left it plugged in for 24 hours, and that seems to have done the trick. I don't have a meter to test the battery, but it's still working just fine two weeks later! Shipping was very prompt, came 2 days earlier than expected.
I bought this charger to use with charging my 12 volt 10ah Sealed Lead Acid battery for my portable speakers. It works great. It will also work for 6volt Sealed Lead Acid batteries.
I use this unit to keep the battery charged on my lawn tractor during the off mowing season. It is small and efficient. Very easy to use and low energy usage.
The price is right. The charge rate is a half an amp (500mA). It may take longer to charge some batteries with higher amp-hour (AH) ratings, but it will not damage batteries through over-heating or rapid charging. For instance, a 7AH battery will charge in about 12 to 13 hours unless it is completely dead. (If it is completely dead, and it is a lead-acid battery, it is probably damaged due to over discharge.) The only thing I wish the charger had is a "Fully Charged" indicator light. Aside from that, it is a really good charger.
I bought a litle girls electric quad at a garage sale for $5, but it did not have a charger. I ordered this one from Walmart and now my granddaughter rides the quad every day. I think the secret is in knowing what you need/want, if this is it, I recommend it to do the recharging.
Easy, simple to use charger to trickle charge overnight. It could use a light indicator to let you know it's charging so you just have to trust it's working.
I purchased two of these units to recharge some 6-volt lantern batteries and they work fine. My only gripe is that the charger came with absolutely no instructions. There was a small slip of paper warning the consumer not to plug/unplug the thing without first clipping to the battery, but not even the basic instruction that red goes to positive, black goes to negative.
