US Weight 40 LB Umbrella Base - Weighted Base for Use with Patio Table - For Poles Sizes 1.3-1.75"

Much, much sturdier that the umbrella stand I bought a few months ago. That one has to be filled with water or sand to give it weight, and it leaked… had to keep refilling it. This new one is the perfect color to match my out furniture and holds It own weight, at 40 lbs!

Seems to be a good base. I'm using the stand on a smaller table and a 7 1/2 foot umbrella and does not move with the wind. Haven't had very strong winds yet but should be fine.

although plastic on the outside, ot's the simplicity of its appearance that i like. the weight is fantastic also. i will fully appreciate them for the stability of the umbrellas throughout the summer months!

I already have 3 patio umbrella bases - but NONE would work for a cedar 8 person picnic table. Thank GOD I had ordered this 1 - because it's not insanely tall, like my other 3. Super sturdy and heavy enough I won't worry about my patio umbrella flying off. I will DEFINIATELY BUY ANOTHER, if I ever need another umbrella base!

I purchased two stands After receiving I assembled,then inserted a larger umbrella. The stands had no issues supporting the umbrellas on a relatively breezy day with wind gusts up to 25 MPH.

This is a solid, heavy umbrella base. It's rectangular shape should provide better stability. The receiver post screws in well and seems secure enough to keep the umbrella in place. The white color is a little bright for my liking but the price is very good so not a deal breaker for me. I'm thinking of painting it another color but I'm not sure if it will stick well on the plastic coating. It's not recommended to leave the umbrella open in windy conditions and I probably wouldn't. I doubt this base would be heavy/strong enough to keep it from blowing over . Overall it's a good purchase.

The base is sturdy and looks nice especially for the price. It appears that several small pieces were missing (plastic collars in different sizes) which ultimately didn't matter for the size of the umbrella that was being used. The instructions for assembly could have been more clear. Overall, good value.
