Valley Farms Safflower Seed Wild Bird Food

we feed the critters outside. birds, squirrels, no chipmunks here, probably an opossum and maybe a racoon we have a bird/critter sanctuary outside a window to keep our indoor cats busy

I rescued a racing pigeon from a hawk. It had a injured wing and couldn't fly. So I took it home and nursed it back to health. But it wouldn't eat, I tried everything. I saw this in the store and decided to try it. And to my surprise he absolutely loves it. He has gained some weight, his feathers are looking a lot better, he's more active, and his wing is healing very well. Thanks to this food he is on his way to a full recovery and release very soon.

Birds love it! I thought the squirrels would not like it but unfortunately they do too! Good product!

I bought this to deter the influx of house sparrows (an invasive species that will fight other birds at the feeder) and it worked great. Now the feeder is primarily drawing finches, cardinals %26 woodpeckers.

Very good quality safflower seed. My songbirds love it.

Quality- seeds lot smaller than my previous selection from another provider.

It says Squirrels don't like it, yet they were the first ones to eat it. I mean, the birds like it too! If they can get to it first.

I got this because it said squirrels don't like it. I was going through so much regular seed because of all my squirrels. Sadly, they like this as well and it is a lot more expensive than the mixed seed. Sigh.
