I especially like the good price for the product and the fact that it's delivered when I want it. I don't drive so the delivery is a wonderful attribute! The squirrels and birds LOVE it, and of course, I love the fact that they love it! With being in one package, it's easy to put a new cake into the feeder and leave them to it!

I feed the birds during the winter. This suet cake is affordable and attracts a lot of woodpeckers. Usually go through 3 or 4 during the cold months.

Our birds are all crazy about this seed cake, they fight each other to get to it! We like that the base of it is not suet which often went rancid during the summer months. This is a good price for a cake that attracts so many beautiful birds and we'll continue to keep a supply on hand all year.

i was so impressed at the size and weight of these seed cakes. i was getting blue jays, cardinals, woodpeckers and chickadees to my deck. but with the seed cake, i am getting doves and all sorts of new birds. i am so glad i bought this item. well worth the cost!

The birds, especially my robins, love the Pennington select seed and mealworm treat cake. With the weather being volatile, so much for a Spring, it is so important that the mother bird has sufficient energy to forage food for herself and her baby birds. I do not use a bird feeder because of the bear sightings, but place a portion of the cake ion the tree branches. The birds enjoy the treat.

Was hoping for bluebirds with this block. I was not disappointed!! Easy to fill a feeder and if you can keep squirrels away, lasts awhile.

On the first day we put this out, we had bluebirds, warblers, wrens and an assortment of other birds (along with some pesky squirrels) partaking of the bounty offered. It would be nice if Walmart also carried the cage for this mealworm/seed cake, as it is too large to fit in standard suet cages. (We were able to find a cage by another manufacturer for it at our local Ace Hardware.) Definitely a treat for insect eating birds not normally seen at bird (seed) feeders.

Cakes were contaminated with moth eggs which turned to larvae and then to moths which infested our home using the cakes as a food source. Had to throw away 5 of the 8 cakes we bought that were contaminated and we had to seal everything in the home that was grain related (flour, cereal, crackers, bread, etc, etc.). A horrible experience from Walmart. I would attach a photo but it would be too discusting.

love the bird seed but I ordered dog food also and it is hard trying to get credit back, did not recieve dog food
