Our metal flag poles kept bending and kept "getting scored" so they would break. I finally found a wood flag pole. It's sturdy and looks beautiful. When ordering, don't forget to order a 1" bracket to hold the flag pole if you don't have one.
This is an awesome flagpole. Fit all of the specs in the description. I am very happy with it.
Had to return it because I found one cheaper in-store for $3 cheaper--not quite as good quality but ok for me--I am a Bohemian
Hey! this is the only way to get a replacement flag pole! All our "shop one shop all" suppliers only carry complete kits with flags for 3-4 times the money! Go Figure!
I was very pleased with the quality of this item. The packaging was somewhat inconvenient, however. The box was about six feet long and two feet wide, I could not fit it in my car and when I removed the pole all the "popcorn" foam went all over. What a mess! If you get this item do not have it shipped to the store, Lol!
Plain, simple, wooden flag pole. Very light weight. Hope it holds up to the high winds my area has. This one replaced an aluminum pole that I was not happy with at all. Only have had this wooden one for a couple of days, but I'm hoping it holds up to the weather and winds.
There was only 1 piece supplied to hold a flag...the one at the top...had to use a tie strap at the bottom
What a huge pain in the bum! The packaging was a bit bonkers (box comes with a bazillion peanuts. Glad my kiddos weren't awake when I opened it.) but that wasn't my issue with this pole. THey should specify that this pole is strictly for flags that have a sleeve to slide it through. This pole only comes with *one* hook. After purchasing my flag I realized that it didn't have a sleeve and had to be hooked. I'm going to have to return this tomorrow and see if I can find a different one in store. It would save everyone the hassle if they would write that in their description.
Not what I expected. It has only one attachment point. Most American flags require 2 points of attachment to the pole.
I seldom rate Walmart badly, but after receiving these poles today I was forced to. I paid $28 for a broke pole and a pole missing its clips for the frags. Both poles were useless as I received them. They were both in the same box, but it was clear that the broken pole was broken before it was shipped because the box was not damaged and the second pole was not broken. A pole without hardware to use this pole makes no sense. At least the broken pole had the hardware so I put the hardware on the good pole am going to jerry rig the broken pole so I can use it. I have had broken or missing parts before, but having two items in the same box: never. Products should be inspected by packer before shipping and never put a broken item in a box and send it out.
