This hose corrected a nasty water problem
If you're an RVer, this is the hose that you want. I full-time in my Airstream and have been through a few different hoses and this one is the best. When I first started out in my RV I got your typical Camco hose and hooked it up to my city water inlet. I paired it with the Camco filter and everything was good for a couple months. Then one day when I ran my water I noticed that it was fizzy and smelled like chemicals. I asked my neighbors and they all said that their water was fine. Then I switched out the filter for a new one and the problem persisted. Through a lot of research I figured out that my hose was lying out in the burning hot Texas sun and the sun was basically baking my hose and causing the chemicals in it to leech into my water. So I did more research and found this hose. I switched to it and have had no problems since. This specific hose is made of a vinyl-free, inert plastic material so it doesn't have the weird vinyl chemicals of your typical hose. It's also harder than your typical hose. It's more like underground irrigation line. It's the only hose I've been able to find that's made of that material. Since I switched to this hose everything has been perfect. I also paired it with the Valterra water filter because after my Camco hose fiasco I just don't trust their products.

Leak
Ordered this product. When we received it, one look at the male end of the hose had 2 very visible cracks in it. We hooked it up to check it and it leaked badly! I would think that Valterra would at least take a look at something they ship out beforehand. Will not buy any more items from Valterra!
