Van Ness Framed Sifting Cat Litter Pan

This works great for 2 cats and 1 is 14lbs and long. I use pine pellets and use less by being able to sift the used pieces.

Works good but pans %26 sifter is made of verrrry thin plastic %26 a little flimsy. will not buy again tho. will look for thicker, more durable plastic.

Was a little worried cuz of the reviews but not gonna lie, they are a pretty decent size. My 4 year old cat fits perfectly in it and hes a 13 pound mainecoon if that helps any lol. The top clicks down nicely so they cant rip it off. Would definitely recommend them, also havent cleaned them yet cuz i just got them but it is pretty light so i assume it will be easy. I give it a 4 because since the bottom doesnt have much of a guard the litter still flings everywhere but thats my only "complaint".

If you use pine pellets, they will get trapped in the grate and make it hard to get rid of the pellet dust, not worth it when walmart has a better green and creme option you can find that is cheaper

It sounded really good but after using it for a couple of weeks I find it's more work than using the sifter. First you take off the splash guard and set it aside then you remove the grate shake it dump the clumps and poop in to a bag, find something to scrape the clumped sand off of the grate then set it aside. Now you take out the first solid container with the cleaned sand and set it aside. replace the grate in the empty container. pour the clean sand into the container with the grate. place the container with the grate and sand into the empty container. It works but it's more trouble than using the scooper so I got rid of the grate (it was thick and she didn't like it much)and I use it as a regular cat box. It is well made and I like the splash guard but I think you could find a cat box with the splash guard for a lot less

After my cat used the litter box, I went to sift it. The cat litter stuck to the bottom of the sifting pan. I had to scrape it out. The cat pan itself, is only a few inches off of the floor, so, even with the lid, cat litter was still all over the floor.

Walmart delivered someone else's order to my home- purchase refunded after local store refused to assist with item bought on app.

I through them away .. its just clumped up instead of making my life easy it made it harder .. I had so scrape and deep clean them .. it was more of a hassle than a regular litter box .. I would've returned them but who would want litterboxes used or full of cat poop still on them .. maybe the metal ones work better .. but the plastic was are the worse

This looks like it would be way more effective rather then scooping poop.., sadly it was not able to filter much before clogging up with two cats after only a day or two before trying
