GORILLA GRIP Waterproof Cat Litter Mat, Easy to Clean Honeycomb Waste Trapping Mats, 24x15 Gray

Litter is more contained since I purchased several of these. I've got to share that a feral cat we took in to keep warm over winter in 2024 dropped four kittens on us this past November after she had escaped sometime in the Fall and then dutifully returned to her free meals and warm cuddles behind all the furniture. Our house already had a cat. Now it's six cats (the kittens are officially neutered and 4 months old). I'm cleaning out several litter boxes and it's litter-mania here. These pads hang on to the litter and prevent what could be an out of hand situation. Just remember when you buy yours (and you should) tap the entire pad and tip the pad to the back before lifting to dispose of the litter inside to be sure it's all shaken to the bottom. The kitties feet are cleaner. The carpet is cleaner. The material is easy to wash and so far the oldest rubber pad has durability the other pads I bought earlier do not. Not only do kittens walk on them, they chew, claw and hide under them. So get one that will last.

Litter mat is perfect. No more sweeping and vacuuming litter tracked on my floors. I’m 70, disabled and going through chemo. Anything to make life easier is much welcomed and this mat checks all the boxes. Perfect

Overall very nifty. Doesn’t bother the cat, I think he actually likes it. He’s kind of a neat freak. The only thing I would nit pick is the fold in the middle. I did let it sit underneath some really heavy things for quite a few days on top of a cement floor.. still, upon removing it, it had the bend/crease. I was able to pull my litter box up enough to sit right on that, and hoping with time it does flatten out. Over all, great product.

This mat works great to keep litter from going all over the house. I put it right outside of the litterbox and every time they come out they have to step on it. Every now and then I'll pick it up and dump the extra litter in the trash (there's not really ever enough to bother dumping it back in like the product description suggests), which is really easy to do, and then I set it back down and forget it again. Definitely recommend to reduce litter around the house.

This litter mat works as intended for use. I've been using for about 8 months. It is light-weight and easy to pick up and drain the pieces of litter back into the litter box. It has definitely helped with minimizing the spread of litter around the litter box. My only gripe is I expected better quality from Gorilla Grip. The light-weight material allows the mat to slide around unless it's weighted down with the litter box itself. It took it a long long time to settle down the creases in the mat from shipping. Finally, it is a bit difficult to clean the end that doesn't open up. I do wash it down with a hose or in the bath tub, but I cannot get a "scrub" into the corners without a specialized item to make it happen. Still, despite these, I do recommend it.

I ordered 2 of these cat litter mats, and they work better than other mats we tried as far as trapping litter. However, this larger size is much harder to dump out than the smaller version. I make a huge mess trying to wrangle the mat and dump back into the litter box. The smaller one is pretty easy. The material rinses off well, and dries fairly quickly. With nice weather I've done that outdoors. This winter the shower will have to do. Be careful when spraying the honeycomb part. It will splash back at you!

The Mat is rigid and where it comes folded, it maintains the folds. Have been working on getting it to lay flat for several days now. Cats exit their litter box onto the mat but have not noticed a reduction in litter tracked onto bare floor once the cats step off of the mat.

its a great idea. mine was delivered folded in half and i don't think that was walmarts doing. I think they're produced like that. It makes it impossible to use. It has a huge crease in the center so it stays bumped up. It also will not open by pushing in the sides to dump the litter, half pours out when you lift it (the half in front of the fold) and the other half will not come out because you can not open it.. it's molded in that position so it just doesn't work. I've tried soaking it in hot water and letting it dry flat but it still goes back to that shape.. if yours comes non folded i bet it would be great, if not a little bulky and hard to handle.

This product has a permanent fold that will not release due to terrible packaging. There is a permanent crease in the middle of the mat and even after trying to weigh it down, the crease is permanent and does not release. This match should be shipped flat and without folding which creates permanent creasing. Perhaps it should be packaged as a rolled product that is simply rolled out that would hopefully settle down and be the flat mat it is promised to be.

Obviously, not clear on concept. The material is like two sheets of heavy duty cardboard… not flexible for bending to return kitty litter to pan. The perforated top also extends beyond the solid catch layer, allowing tracked litter to fall out onto the floor. The material is so stiff with shipping folds it will never lay flat… that’s after 5 days of weighting down with books and now 1 month on the floor. I DO like the larger holes on the top
