The instructions provided for loading the e-card into my mobile wallet (specifically, Google Pay/Apple Pay) were flawless and took less than two minutes. Once it was digitized, I could use it for tap-to-pay transactions in stores. This is the ultimate convenience. I no longer had to carry a physical plastic card or fumble for the numbers when checking out online. Every transaction was secure, fast, and completely seamless. If you are looking for a gift card that is instantly available, universally accepted, and equipped with modern, secure NFC technology, look no further. This card is a must-have for anyone who prefers contactless payments. It's the perfect blend of digital delivery and real-world utility.

This card DOES NOT WORK at MANY DIFFERENT LOCATIONS ONLINE. There is PLENTY OF PLACES THAT DO ACCEPT THIS CARD. But there's also a LOT of places that do not. SOMETIMES you can get it to work at a place that you really want it to work at, by messing around with the address and credentials. For example; First Name:Gift Last Name:Card Street:123 Main St. Zip Code:00000 (This is the most important part. Many places do not allow you to put "00000" as a zip code. A lot of the time it will say, "Invalid zip code." I've found that if the card isn't working at a certain place, and I am resorting to trying things like this, putting the zip code as "00000" has usually worked, if possible. I am unsure why this works, but I am assuming that the card doesn't have a zip code or street address attached to the billing information on the card, so naturally "00000" would work. They say to use the zip code and address that you use when you buy it, but I'm almost 100% positive whatever you type in when you buy this card is completely irrelevant, and doesn't change the card whatsoever. I could be wrong. But this HAS worked for me before, and that's my assumption. As well as the first and last name.... "Gift" and "Card" are printed on the gift card, so I'm assuming some billing systems take this literally? Not sure, I'm not the smartest when it comes to POS systems. I am just posting this simply to try and possibly help others that have the same predicament as I do/did. You can also try using the address of the actual location of where these gift cards are produced or manufactured, for the billing address.) I have tried to find a way to attach a billing zip code or billing address to this card, and it actually is impossible. I've tried calling the automated system. I've tried going online and checking the balance and seeing if you can do it there. I've even gone to old URL addresses that you can't even find on the actual website anymore, such as, "vanillagiftcard. om/balance/billing". (Just an example, this isn't a real URL. I can't remember the actual real URL I found but it used to work for adding a billing zip code... I dug it up from a reddit post.) I can CONFIDENTLY say that it's impossible to do. BE AWARE ALSO, EVEN WITH TAP TO PAY... IF YOU ADD THIS TO GOOGLE PAY OR APPLE PAY, YOU CANNOT GET CASHBACK FROM THIS GIFT CARD. PERIOD. NOT AT ATMS OR THE REGISTER. PURCHASE SOME CRYPTO CURRENCY, OR GO BUY SOME CHIPS AT A CASINO ONLINE, AND THEN CASHOUT THE CRYPTO, OR THE CHIPS... AND THEN YOU CAN GET THE MONEY.

It never arrived (It was supposedly a digital card I got Annette at gift cards to take responsibility to refund my money. It took Since the 6th and I still do not have my refund or a credit. It has been a nightmare!

Emergency assistance for a friend this was purchased as a gift. The card was not able to be used and there was no customer service support to help. Something to think about, not everyone is tech savy even using a virtual card can be a challenge. Human customer service would have helped. I definitely took note and will not be purchasing or recommending the use of Vanilla Visa.

this card is a joke I bought this to use online and I haven't found one place that will except it not even Walmart and I bought it from Walmart so I have got money just floating around out there somewhere that I can't use it was just like flushing the money down the toilet and I probably would have been happier if I did that instead so I definitely don't recommend

I had bought a $20 gift card. It came easy through email.No card just the numbers and pin and date. No bar code to scan.I to go and purchase from online or in store it kept declining the purchase. I had tried 5 different times under $20. I called and reached customer service and they said you have to purchase under $15. For it to work. I was not happy that I purchase a $20. Card and can only use $15. Would not recommend. Walmart gift card goes straight to email and has a bar code and super easy to use.

after I sent this card to my son for a birthday gift it said delivered but would not work and was declined for numerous purchases( the customer service desk attempted this themselves) finally asked for refund n was quoted 3 weeks for that . do not purchase a online gift card for Walmart.

I have had several of these e gift cards not work! On a couple of them, the expiration date was invalid making the card invalid. And then after having it canceled it flagged my account so I couldn't buy another one! I would absolutely not recommend this.

I purchased this gift card believing that I would be able to add it to my virtual wallet because the their official website states that you can do that. Once I activated the card, I attempted to do just that. I was unable to add it to Apple, Google, or Paypal. I contacted Customer Service to find out what was causing this issue. Their response was to inform me that customers can no longer add Vanilla gift cards to digital wallets. The company changed their policy without informing consumers of this change. There is absolutely no benefit in using a Vanilla gift cards. Choose Netspend, or American Express Bluebird. Vanilla is just that, a product that is of a vanilla quality.
