I have been using Vaseline Rosy Lips Lip Therapy for a long time. It is really good and keeps my lips moisturized. When I used lipsticks before, they always dried my lips, but after using this lip balm, my lips feel much better.
I am a makeup artist, so using a lip moisturizer is a almost a recommendation before applying any lipsticks especially with matte lipsticks. The subtle tint of pink I get from this product really helps improve the look of my lips as well because some of the nude lipsticks on the market can be lighter than our preferences. This can fix that. Using this product has become a requirement in my makeup routines on my YouTube channels. Now this product is very affordable too and does the work of other "fancier" lip care products. A tip for makeup geeks out there .. I feel you don't want anything too heavy or something with too much pigment go with this, some concealer and mascara and it creates a wonderful natural everyday look! Add in very subtle eyeliner using your favorite black or brown eyeshadow and if you want, some poppin' highlight!
So I thought the "Rosy" meant the color of the balm but it also smells like roses...which means it tastes like it smells. It works great and I love the tint but the taste is gross!
I would like to say I love this product! The only drawback is you have to use your finger. I would love to see you guys put this in a container that you can just apply it to your lips! I work outside and get dirty. It is inconvenient to have to keep washing your hands every time you want to use it!
My daughter has been obsessed with the mini lip therapy and I loved when she used the Rosy one on her lips for school pictures - subtle color. So I finally tried the Rosy and love the moisture and love the hint of color. I agree with so many other reviewers that say please put it in a tube for sanitary reasons. But sadly your company must not read or value the reviews. Make a great product even better please!
GREAT, BUT, CHECK SIZE FIRST BEFORE ORDERING. THIS IS QUITE SMALL AND NOT EASY TO OPEN. BUT GOOD PRODUCT.
I've been using this along with the other flavors for years. I've used this since my first try and no other lip balms have rivaled! But I honestly would love if these came in a lip applicator tube while maintaining the formula for hygienic purposes. I've tried the stick and tin versions but it doesn't work as well as these mini tubs. This is the only reason I've been trying other brands since the tub container is hard to use while traveling or at the gym and so on.
I used Rosy Lips for years. It was my holy grail when it came to lip care as my lips are extremely sensitive. The formula has recently changed and they have added linalool to the jelly, which is a known allergen. The new formula is greasy when applied and dries up really fast compared to their old petrolatum-only formula. My lips are left feeling even more dry and irritated with this new formula. Extremely devastated that Vaseline has ruined a great product.
I purchased to protect my lips as winter is coming. It has left my lips chapped and burning. I tried it, quit to heal and then tried again with the same results.
Mom bought it for me.Vaseline what could go wrong?? Used it once lips turned numb, i was wow its working, 2nd day lips looks like angeline jolie i was like wow amazing 3rd to a week it did not lock in moisture but it locked out all, lips were dried up and very hard its like no sensation at all, not its painful and all cracked up.
