The beans ccok rather quickly. they are perfect for making Homemade BAKED BEANS. Perfect for soups, addition to salads, addition to Salsas Can also be mushed %26 used as refried bean paste. good quality, delicious beans, cooks easily. Soak first for an hour or 2. DO NOT WORRY about BEAN skins, they cook up, %26 blend well in the pot of water. once cooked, you will never know the skins were in the pot, like you do with RED Kidney beans.

I love my beans and I am just so thankful I went ahead and took a chance on buying a big two pound bags of these having never tried this variety. They are just absolutely delicious! I threw them in the Crock-Pot and they get so soft and buttery. Give them a whirl, or should I say a puree ha! Perfect for soups.

I have purchased this 🫘 beans before. These are the only ones on the market, that's not soooo OLD., that you can't eat them because they will Never get tender enough to chew. Great northerns are decent but these are better. Slow cooker beans are my best option. Who has the time., to man., the stove anymore!!

Adore these beans! Found a great recipe on internet for Peruvian beans and they hang in there with cooking time and seasoning! They don't got to mush! Always have some in my pantry

the price on these beans is exceptional at Walmart. I found them by accident t. cook like you would regular pinto beans. what a real find!!!! delicious taste.

I bought these once before. Hadn't even heard of this variety of beans. They are creamy, taste good. Still should cook all beans with bay leaves to reduce gas. 😉 Didn't get gassy really.

Delicious and creamy texture. I used ham hocks for flavor. The family loved these beans better than pinto beans. They are light in color and visually appealing too.

these beans are similar to pinto beans but have a creamer texture and better flavor. i use these instead of pintos and get a lot of compliments.

I added these to my pantry for refried beans. Much creamier and the taste is more authentic to the Mexican Refried beans from the deep south west.

I'm so disappointed in this beans . The price was expensive knowing the bag was small I expected a good amount I seen the same exact bag at food4less for 3.99
