I have two chihuahuas who love to play outside and also go out to use the bathroom. Unfortunately they end up picking up fleas. This spray helps get rid of them quickly and doesn't make their fur smell like chemicals like some sprays I've tried in the past. Definitely recommend!

With the onset of hot weather in the south, it's flea and tick time here. I was needing a spray that was strong on pest and would not cause a reaction on our older dogs. I got the opportunity to try this product from the Spark Reviewer program. I do recommend that you read all the instructions on the outside and inner label prior to using on your pets. There is a maximum amount of sprays per weight on the inner label that you should be aware of and I do recommend the use of gloves on your hands to keep the spray off your skin. The smell is quite pleasant without being a very harsh chemical smell, I did spray our dogs outside on the deck and their beds outside and allowed them to dry before bringing them back in. Our dogs did not show any allergic reactions to the spray, I did a one pump spray on the dogs to test for sensitivity. I then followed the directions for sprays per pound, I did not use the maximum dose, we did not have any fleas on our dogs at the time. I did this a preventative measure to nip a problem in the bud, before it started. Our dogs still had no reaction to the spray at 1 hour, 6 hour, 12 hour and at 24 hours, it has been several days since treatment with no reactions. The spray is good for 14 weeks per the label.

I think this has been working well for us I spray it on my dog who only goes outside for short periods of time. Perfect travel size if you go for walks in wooded areas and want to boost tick prevention. Drys quickly and isn’t oily at all has a great smell as well. In our house we love made I. I chose to review and receive Veterinary Formula Clinical Care Flea & Tick Spray for Dogs..After very carefully reading the instructions I did not feel comfortable applying this product on my 5lb dog. I know of a dog rescue and I donated it to them..They were grateful since they need donations and this product worked well on their larger dogs so it's not going to waste.

This is my review of the Veterinary Formula Clinical Care Flea & Tick Spray for Dogs, 8 oz. bottle I am mainly trying this for the tick protection, for during the summer when they are supposedly more active. It has a light pleasant scent. It smells kind of citrusy. It an even spray. It seems to work. My dog is black, so it is kind of hard to spot the critters, but I haven’t seen him scratching much. I live in South Florida, so I’m always looking for safe and effective ways to keep the fleas and ticks off my fur baby, but after you read the warnings about getting it on your skin and stuff, it makes you wonder if you want to use it on your dog. Will it make them sick if they lick it? Overall, I prefer my dog eat the chews. If you like a topical spray, then this would be good

I do have to say that this Veterinary Formula Clinical Care Flea & Tick Spray for Dogs, 8 oz, does work!! It killed the two ticks my dog had on her. I was hoping this would be a helpful tool, given the number of ticks I see around my house even after using a bug treatment on the lawn. However the cons outweigh the pros. I have two small children and a big dog, so odds of them touching her and getting this chemical on their skin are very high. It says right on the bottle that it is hazardous to humans and domestic animals, and there are several precautions to take if you get this on your skin. I’m just not willing to use something long-term that can affect my children or my animals negatively.
