I was using a more expensive brand cause twice as much. So I decided to try this brand basically the same ingredients and what I take every night for regularity. My cat doesn't cough up hair balls. She swallows them and it goes through her digestive system. Causing her constipation in her older years. I have her only on wet cat food now with a little bit of dry food. This makes her food taste better. She loves it and she has full size stools now so it is helping with the cat hair blockage. If your cat is not coughing up hair balls, but cleans itself constantly that hair is in its digestive system. You need this medication for the longevity of your cat.

The hairball chews seem to work well. I broke the pill into 4 pieces and gave it to my cat. They sniffed the pill and licked it. They were unsure about it at first, but then went back to it and chewed the pill up until gone. My cat has not had a problem. You give one pill a day. I would recommend these chewable hairball pills for cats.

My cats wouldn't eat them. I tried breaking them up, mixing with other food and they would leave behind.
