Vibrant Life Chomp & Tug Buddy Dog Toy, Chew Level 3

My pitty pup LOVES this toy! He is definitely a heavy chewer so this toy only lasted about a week but his week of pure happiness for a little over $6 (I purchased this on clearance, and would do so many times over if they still had it in stock) was completely worth it. I'm sure the “bone” pieces are what saved this toy from lasting only than 20 minutes. They're a great change of texture on a cloth toy and also act as a distraction and shield to the rope making it last longer for heavy chewers. However, once the rope begins to get worn out, I highly recommended tossing the toy away or discovering a way to replace the rope since the bone pieces can be a choking hazard for larger dogs (labs, goldens, danes, etc.). Overall, one of my pups favorite toys he's ever had (and he's gone through a lot)!

I understand that my dog is a hardcore chewer. Its hard to judge toys over the internet, so I rely on the rating system assigned to the toy by the manufacturer. Well, the rating system assigned to this toy is completely incorrect and I will never trust anything by this brand again. She had it destroyed less than 15 minutes after arrival. The parts that look like bones are plastic. The stuffing is sisal, which is nice. The sewing isnt seam locked at all, nor is it a double seam, and the rope is very flimsy. All in all, NOT a level 3 chew toy. Not even a tug toy. Just throw the $10 into the trash and save yourself the cleanup.
