I'm not sure if the quality is kind of mediocre or if my cats are just really destructive because they are able to tear the toy off within a week or so, which makes the price a little much for just one of these because I keep having to buy them over and over. The string could be a little bit shorter as well

Possibly, my two senior cats did not express any interest in these due to their ages. Perhaps with catnip or more sounds, these would have made an impact.

i personally do not recommend feathers on cat toys.

I thought these might be smaller than they are but I didn't bother to check the dimensions prior to ordering them. So, that's on me. They aren't massive or anything but they are more bulky than one might assume they'd be at a glance. They're very sturdy but that might be part of the problem. None of my 3 cats seems to have any interest in these toys, even though 2 of them go crazy for noisy toys %26 bells. The largest cat (who will run around carrying dog chew toys) actually seems to be slightly afraid of these toys. I'm not sure if it's the size, weight, or shape that's off-putting to her, but she's completely disinterested in these toys. I think it's the weight %26 shape but who knows. They're made of an extremely hard plastic, too . . . I'm afraid that if someone steps on these they'll likely end up injured %26 I'm certain it would be a choking hazard. So, I advise caution!
