With another brand, i struggled to get consistent egg production that brand is 18 cents per pound more expensive. i saw Vibrantl Life Omega Egg Layer one day at my local Walmart and decided to buy a shopping cart full. i have 2 chicken coops. The laying hens i fed Vibrant Life Omega Egg Layer too immediately began laying eggs again consistent with their breed and age compared to the other coop with the popular name / more expensive feed. Now, all my laying hens are free choice fed Vibrant Life Omega Egg Layer and egg production is consistent woth breed and age. My layer hens eat less, too, with Vibrant Life Omega Egg Layer because this feed is good quality. Save money and have healthier chickens with Vibrant Life Omega Egg Layer
Excellent delivery service, he even put the bags of feed on my two wheeler. I was out back with the chickens when he came...I wanted to tip him 15.00. how do I do that ow
Our chickens go wild over this feed. As soon as we start giving him this type of grain they seem to start laying a lot more eggs we like the size of the bag we like the price and we subscribe.its a good mix
Great price. Chickens love it. Even seen the cats eat it which is weird. So my Chickens dont complain they love it. They lay the same amount of eggs as other brands.
Cheaper than anywhere else I can find per pound unless buying in significant bulk. Only confusion for me is the scratch and egg layer crumble bags are too similar in design, so sometimes I accidentally buy the wrong one! Both are good products though. Chickens have been laying just as much, if not more than ever.
I used to buy my chicken feed from tractor supply. Walmart just has a better ordering system and you can’t beat the Walmart price. I do wish that there was more variety of chicken feed available for pick up, but I assume it has to do with geographic location.
My pets really like it and it’s nutritious. I love the fact that it’s vegan as so am I. It’s very reasonable and easily available through Walmart delivery, which is convenient.
There’s nothing wrong with this chicken feed, in fact I switched to this feed from a large feed stores brand of feed when there were issues with it that caused my flock to stop laying. Once they started eating this feed they began laying again. The issue I have is these feed bags do not have the easy open pull strips that every other feed bag has, making these very difficult to open. I really wish they would change this about the product!
I used this product because of the ingredients and price. I used the pellets then the crumble. My chickens began lacking nutrition, so their eggs and poop showed it. I had to supplement. I found this product not conducive to good health for my girls.
inl started to feed this exclusively to my 40 hens and they have stedaly stopped laying. This is not due to molting as none are molting at this time and half were new egg layers. i started with 20-30 eggs a day at the start of using the 4 or 5 bags i bought. now that I've used the last of the bags over a period of a month (they free range as well) i am now getting 3 eggs a day. the only change is this food. TSC feed wasnt even this bad. i dont know if the main i grediant is cardboard but the neutrition must be screwed or the feed is old and dead. so if you want your chikens to lay less this is a great product for you :)
