Love the colors of this brush, but the colors aren't important. What is important is I like this brush! I have a golden retriever, which if anyone has a golden knows there's always hair to be brushed. This brush has a nice grip handle. The wire bristles seems sturdy. It holds the hair well, but is very easy to clean out. My golden is mostly smooth coat, with some patches of waves. I'm not sure how well this would work on a curly type or thick coat. It did great on my golden's body and tail. She loves to be groomed and didn't mind this brush at all. She never mentioned anything about the colors, but I think she liked them too.
I really like this brush for my two dogs that have longer hair. I have a Maltese and a shih Tzu both with beautiful hair. They don’t really like getting their hair brushed but they don’t seem to mind this brush at all. It appears to get the nots out easily. My husband used it when we first got it because he didn’t know it was a dog brush and he loved it too! LOL
We are very happy with this dog brush that is actually useful on rabbits AND dogs! Our rabbit lovvves to be brushed but have a hard time finding a brush that works easily with a rabbit without it getting caught in his hair. This brush brushes so flawlessly that our rabbit just sits there and enjoys being brushed now. Our dogs get jealous so they patiently wait their turn to be brushed! The handle is also very soft and the bristles must be very comforting for the rabbit and dogs because they get so excited when they see us taking the brush out for brush time! The brush is also a great size for any size dog and rabbit! Very pleased!
Vibrant Life Pin Dog Brush is the best brush I have ever used for my dog. I have a laborator retriever and this brush works great at getting his loose undercoat hairs out. The brush bristles are sturdy which helps to get the loose fur out. It's very quick and easy to get the fur out of the brush as well. Plus, my dog enjoys his brushing massage!
This brush is pretty good for dogs with long hair. The whole brush is made of a hard plastic. The pad of the brush where the bristles are is pretty soft and adaptable to give comfortable while brushing with it. The bristles are made of a metal but they have small round heads on the tops that keep them from scratching while using. There is a nice sturdy handle for holding and it seems ergonomically engineered by the shape for comfort and grip while using it. There are cut out spots in the handle that allow for air and less sweaty palms. This comes in handy especially if you are brushing your pet while blow drying. I did use this on my dog however it can be used on either a dog or cat. My dog seemed to really enjoy it, I presume it felt like a nice little massage because she got a quiver down her back when brushing her with it. This does the trick of getting the hair brushed out from small knots or beginnings of matting. I would not use this on large knots. I believe with too big of a knot it may pull too much for comfort for an animal. I did receive this item in exchange for an honest review!
Reviewing: Vibrant Life Pin Dog Brush, polypropylene, 1ct The dog brush that I received is fairly similar to other dog brushes I've owned but there are some differences to note. The first is that this brush appears to be made of two separate components for the body as opposed to a single-body brush type, where the body is molded from one continuous piece. I don't know enough about brush design to offer an opinion over which style is the best for dog-hair brushing applications, but I can at least say that appearance-wise the brush is pleasing to the eye in the sense that it looks like a well made item. Plus there are certain design aspects about it that make it functionally useful. First, the handle is comfortably molded with small slits along the beveled edge on either side of the handle that I gather are for ventilation as well as grip. On the top surface of this handle there are slight concave depressions which conform to the fingers of a person's hand while the brush is being gripped, ensuring the ability to apply the brush in a controlled, comfortable way both for the dog and the groomer. The brush bristles are of the metal kind, thin as pins but with soft rounded ends to protect the dog's skin underneath the fur. These bristles are spaced with enough room (in my opinion) to allow the bristles to go through fur of all varieties without getting kinked or obstructed by virtue of fur getting too tangled up by the bristles. The bed on which the bristles sit is a plastic matrix that does not seem like it would interfere with the use of it nor apply any kind of uncomfortable sensation to the dog. The packaging indicates that this can be used on “extremely tough coats,” so that bodes well for a lot of dog groomers looking for a decent addition to their brush collection. Finally, the handle does have a large enough hole at the end to allow it to be hung from a peg or hook for easy storage and retrieval. I am glad to have this for use on my dog who seems to enjoy its sensation (or at least she doesn't seem to mind it being used on her).
I have a Pomeranian. If you don't know, they have multiple coats. This brush gets all layers of her coat. Yep Poms have multiple coats. The top being very long. That tail is a real rascal to not only catch (she's wagging it cause she loves her mommy It feels so good! And, whatever else goes through her doggie mind. Something I'll never know
The dog brush is perfect for my short haired chiweenie, Sheldon. The bristles are strong enough to brush his hair, but not too firm on his skin. It helps to get those pesky loose hairs removed. It is a nice shape to be comfortable when using. It has been easy to clean out fur that accumulates. This brush is Sheldon approved, which is hard to do.
I started brushing my dog Copper with this brush when I first got it. She’s older and usually she doesn’t like being brushed. Unlike most of the other brushes I’ve used she actually liked getting brushed using this tool. Easy to use, easy to clean and because it makes Copper happy it is worth every penny.
Vibrant Life Pin Brush is now the favorite pet brush at our house. The cat has long thick hair that is hard to manage. This brush massages the skin while smoothing the hair. Bo loves when we get it out. The handle is a very comfortable fit allowing for a long use time. The pins are strong and very sturdy!
