Best shampoo I have found for my long haired Chihuahua. He has skin allergies and I bought an expensive oatmeal shampoo, which he ended up being allergic to also. I searched around and immediately bought this, and for the first time in a long time he is calm and not itchy. I have tried multiple shampoos and sprays over the years, and am so happy I found this one. When my baby is relaxed then I can relax. Thank you Wahl and Walmart!

Smells good and it lathers pretty good. My dogs hair is very soft after using this product and their skin looks great and no more fleas. I have a long haired dog who has always had very scraggly hair but this shampoo made her hair lay down and look so good! I recommend this product.

I'm not sure how 'calming' applies to dog shampoo. Daisy doesn't like baths and ain't no ingredient gonna calm her down. This smells nice, lathers up good, and rinses clean. Price is right

We have 9 dogs and have tried many dog shampoos -- from very inexpensive to very expensive. This is the first time we used a WAHL shampoo, and we really loved it! It lathered easily, rinsed very clean (squeaky dog fur is hard to achieve!) and it smelled great. It's a light lavender scent, not a heavy one. The combination shampoo & conditioner saved on bath time, and our dogs were easy to brush out after their baths. We'll definitely purchase this product again.

I just used this shampoo today on my 6LB Yorkie. I groom him myself in a Schnauzer cut so the hair on his legs is long, gets matted and needs daily combing. I bought four bottles of this shampoo because at Walmart I've learned "here today gone tomorrow!" I am so glad I did because I have two dogs. It REALLY was everything it claims - cleans, conditions, detangles AND moisturizes. It smells heavenly! My little dog is smoother than silk and he literally glistens! Pay attention to the directions and use VERY sparingly - a tiny bit really does lather a lot! This is such a great value but the one thing the big 24oz. bottle is very heavy and I dropped it more than once spilling some and startling my dog. I will be transferring it into smaller dispensers left over from the liquid hand soap I used up. I got mine - better get yours!

Wow, this is such a great shampoo for dogs! What a great price and good quality. First, it lathers really well and my dogs love the scent lavender. Also, it rinses out well too and doesn't cake up. And, lavender keeps the bugs away like mosquitoes, fleas and ticks-so, that's a plus too! After, bathing my dogs I do spray with a flea and tick mist and it seems to work very well. A must try!

I decided to buy this for our very active young puppy. After a bath she was really calm and rested her head on my shoulder. I sat her down on her bed with her blanket and she went right to sleep. The scent was nice but not too overpowering. The soap rinsed off nicely as well. This will be our go to dog shampoo and conditioner for sure. I do highly recommend this product.

My husband loved this shampoo for Blaze our puppy. It only takes a little bit to get him all clean and smelling good. I highly recommend this product and will purchase again.

Smells great, definitely not overpowering. Light clean scent. Lathered well. Not sure about the calming effect, but my dog was clean and soft. Easy to brush, no tangles.

Scent is nice but it doesn't last long. Calming properties of lavender doesn't work for my hyper French bulldog.
