over the 12 years I've had my dog. I've bought these over any other. I do buy a bigger weight then my dog because he pulls on it a lot when he's barking at the leaves moving. I do change it out about every 1.5 years bc it does get wear and tear bc he pulling on it, he's snagging it on things and if I don't it will eventually break. if your dog isn't the one barking and wishing he could run until his legs give out, I'm sure it'll last longer

I have two Siberian Husky/ Australian Shepherd Mixed Dogs. Each weighs about 50-55 pounds. This is the second leash of this kind that I've purchased, the first purchase was nearly a year ago and still holding strong. This leash works well for them to enjoy hanging out in the yard to play and exercise their high energy lifestyles. I certainly provide them the required exercise but this leash allows for an additional bit of active freedom for them as well. It's plenty long enough to provide them a comfortable zone. It holds up well to their strength and shows no wear after several months of use thus far.

works very well with my 50 lb boxer and she is very high energy. I have bought other cables that has not lasted the weather so we'll just see about this one but so far it's really good

Bought to keep my 250lb boxer/pit mix in my yard. My dog is so strong at one point he snapped every chain I've put on him and only wasn't able to snap the 3ft chains after a while I felt really bad he couldn't run around so I found this and figured give it a shot. He's had this runner for a little over 2 months and hasn't been able to snap it yet. He's likes to get run and gos with his weight to pop the chain and so far hasn't. I have a Pitbull mix and a Boston Terrier and this works great for them. Quality is ok I usually have to replace it every one to two years. But it can handle my Pitbull no problem, she yanks on the cable really hard when someone is walking by my house.

This seems very durable and has no issues keeping my pit bull and husky safe. The 2 stars is because of whoever designed the latch. It does not open "in" or slide down. It opens OUT requiring you to pull it outward (not easy as it's very stiff) with one hand, grab and clip it to the collar with the other. It's counterintuitive

I have a small dog, only 25 pounds. She does NOT yank on her tie out, its mainly there to keep her from roaming on her short potty breaks. This is rated for 35 pounds, and it broke after only 4 months. Thankfully we were there so she didn't wander and get hurt or lost. Very poor quality.

Too bright for a night light and they flicker very fast when its dusk and again at dawn…it annoying and looks like something is wrong when people drive by

The clips require a lot of hand strength or 2 hands to open. It is very difficult to open if 1 hand needs to hold the collar and you can't get the clip open with 1 hand. This clip pulls out to open.

Broke in less than 1 day I used it for my sisters dog and it was fine As soon as I put my dog on it before I could get 5 steps in she was running ahead of me dragging the broken cord
