These sticky mouse traps work great! They are super easy to maintain you just sit them out and wait. You dont have to set the trap or anything. The glue is very sticky so you dont want to let it touch anything else. Ince a mouse touches this it will not be getting away. This are great if you have children because you dont have to worry about a snap trap getting them.
We do not have mice where we live in the City. I have tried to catch any for over a week. We DO however have mice at our place in the country. We have tried old fashioned mouse traps many times and have not caught any, they are clever about stealing the bait without springing the trap. But we did use a glue trap in the country and caught a nice fat mouse. My husband disposed of it before I could take a photo. I am very impressed with the glue traps! They work wonderfully! Once the mouse steps on the glue pad there is no escape! We will be using Victor Glue Traps exclusively from now on!
A brownstone a block around the corner from my street where my apartment is located is doing construction. Apparently in Manhattan this can result in rats coming street level. I have lived here a couple of years and this happened now and I can spy a random rat near construction if I'm walking home on that side if the street, only very late at night. I've been walking home on the other side of the street when I get near that brownstone being renovated and the large dumpster in front if it for construction debris. Im going to place some of these near it to see if it helps.
Mice are a big problem in Wisconsin in the colder months especially. Mouse traps are a must in our house. These are great quality very heavy duty we caught 2 mouse so far with these and they could not get off so the glue is nice and sticky. Great brand and great size traps highly recommend them.
I love the way you can bend these so can be placed in small areas around house or in kitchen. No bad smell and don't have to worry if cats or dogs get ahold of them. Haven't got a mouse but everything other kind of bug, crawling things gets caught in them. Which helps a lot in kitchen. Mice comes and goes in and out of house just waiting for them am ready with these glue traps. Will purchase more for sure.
These traps work well. I use them in my shop to keep mice from destroying customer's jobs. The regular traps don't always work well and that's when these types of traps usually get the job done. These traps are made so you can split them where the perforate si to use many, smaller traps. The traps are disposable once the rodent is caught. Also made to collect insects. Keep out of reach from cats and dogs and other household pets. The traps can be folded up like a book when you have caught the rodent, to keep your hands from touching the sticky parts. The traps can also be folded into a box shape to set behind areas with tight quarters. 4 stars from me.
This victor brand mouse glue trap did the job! These are nice for people like me who are scared of the regular mouse traps. I feel like I'm going to snap my finger! These are nice and large and work. I gave them 4 stars because when I opened them the sticky stuff got all over my hands. I think a thin piece of plastic would fix that. But I would get these again!
The Victor Hold-fast Mouse Glue Trap proved to truly "hold fast". When I was opening one of the traps, I mistakenly barely touched the "glue" portion and it really proved to have an effective hold because it not only took some effort to remove my index finger but I had to use alcohol to remove the very tiny glue residue from the finger. Each set comes with two traps. To separate, you must literally "break" it with a downward motion which separates the one piece into two separate pieces. On the back are clear and simple instructions. I have placed these traps in my basement where I occasionally have mice but as of now no mice have been captured maybe because I have an exterminator that comes every three months and there may be few mice present at this time. I have given the Victor Hold-fast Mouse Glue Trap a 4-star review only because a better design for the packaging of the trap could include a "foldable lip" to grab when opening the trap thereby avoiding the mistake of getting finger/hand stuck on the glue portion; however, this is a very, very minor point considering the effectiveness of the product. All in all, I heartily recommend purchasing this Victor Hold-fast Mouse Glue Trap just based on it's exceptional "hold". If you have mice and they go on this trap, the mice will be glued to it with no possibility of escape.
The trap seems to fill with insects before any rodents can get to them. Most likely the problem is that I do not have mice any longer, but roaches fill edges before anything else can get to it. Can break down small enough to place in areas where pets can not get to the traps and gets rid of having to spray areas where you would prefer not to.
Never used Glue Traps before, but wanted to see how effective they are. I was also concerned how to discard any rodents caught. After the first night with no results, I added bait to the Glue Trap and caught the mouse hiding behind my stove. One thing, when I discovered the Glue Trap, it appeared had I not came when I did, the mouse may have worked itself free. One plus, removing the caught rodents, you can reuse the Glue Traps.
