Victor Power Kill Rat Trap - Easy to Set Rat Trap - Plastic Rat Trap - Use Indoors or Outdoors

Been trying to catch a rat that gotten in my house for a week now. Glue traps wouldn't work, poison didn't work. Tried this trap. Set it last night. Came home this afternoon and it got him. Worth it in my opinion. As bait I dipped a small piece of a cotton ball in Nutella and then wetted it with hot water.

Was using the old fashioned wood trap to catch those little striped critters that had invaded our yard, but the traps were so hard to set. Then we found these online and they are a game changer. Totally keeps your hands away from the bar that traps the animals. No more snapped fingers! And catches the little critters every time.

Setting it , loading it, and can be reused. However, it would be better if it threw a little faster. The mechanism is tight and I understand it needs to be, but unless enough pressure is given one can get away, like I had happen. Good thing it ran right into a glue trap not far from it.

I bought these traps, hoping to catch some rats and mice in my backyard and I repeatedly saw them go buy these with no effect and often times they would trigger them, but it would not be able to catch them. They would eat the peanut butter or whatever I put out right off the trap and just cruise away.

This is the best rat trap I've bought this works great. It catches the mice rats and they will not get out of it . This is the best rat trap.

I had this trap set up for a week, and the mice in my closet would just lick the peanut butter and leave without setting off the trap. I'm not sure if they were too light or too clever for it. I tested the mechanism a few times before and after it failed and it's incredibly powerful. I was able to to remove the red plastic from the trap to make it more effective. It seems like it's built well, but it did not work in my case. I bought a catch and release trap afterwards and I caught a mouse within hours.

Set trap 3 times. Food/bate was eaten each time but TRAP never activated/snapped closed. With as powerful as this trap should've been, it should have “caught” rat(s). I am very disappointed. I hate that I spent $ on a trap that doesn't work.

I placed them in my shed in each corner of the doorway. I went back the next day to check on them, and they were not there. The chipmunk or mice actually moved them to the back wall. The clamp was still up and not triggered. The critters ate the peanut butter and the nuts that were spread all over the trap to make sure they walked onto the trigger. I read that this happened to others, and I can not believe they are still selling these critter feeders!

worst traps , doesnt actually kill. great if u want to have to deal with an injuried rat screaming otherwise the wood ones are better ! 0 stars . horrible traps will be returning

This trap is no good. I watch the rats go to it eat all that little hole and walk away from the food's gone. It's not that sensitive. They have to step on the platform for it to trigger. So they all eat from the side and there's no problem. It doesn't catch them.
