Easy to load and activate. Pressure plate hair trigger. Nice and deadly. I could post pics how well this worked but I'll leave it to your imagination. Easy to unload so you can reuse it.
this works great and it is $3 less than other places. great value and reusable
These traps are easy to use . I put peanut butter in the cup for bait . These used to be stocked in the store .
It worked very well
One stop shop !!
As a woman I found the large Victor rat trap is easy to use and catches chipmunks, squirrels, mice and rats. We did put a coat hanger through the small hole near the base to be sure the squirrels didn't just run with the trap if they were not killed.
Works very well. I have caught several rats in the house. Also have caught several rats without even using bait by placing trap trigger by the hole in the screen where rats come into the porch from outside. They have to walk over the trigger to get through the hole. Have caught a few anoles too. Easy set and easy release for disposal.
Very powerful spring for catching larger critters such as rats, rat and squirrels but also misses small mice who just steal the bait because of the stiff to press bait peddle
Living in a rural area, we are inundated with mice, regular sized rats as well as what we call pack rats, but usually only in the fall. When I first moved to a rural area, I felt it was better to set traps. I tried several different types of traps for outside, but it is a never ending battle to constantly keep rat traps set outside. So, the solution we use is Victors mouse traps, which is identical to this, but smaller, inside our home. For killing rats & mice before they have the opportunity to invade our home, we have found that all weather bar bait works best. We throw several bars under our home & close the entrance so domesticated animals can't get under our home to eat it. Once I notice that at least 1 mouse has made it in the house, I set several of the Victor mouse traps where I notice mouse activity (usually in my spouse's office or in the bottom drawers under the bathroom sinks. I also throw several large bars of all weather bar bait under the house. Within 1 week, I no longer have mice in the house or rats under the house. The worst part of using bar bait is that the rats/mice die before they can get out from under the foundation. So, for a few days, you can smell the dead rats/mice under the house. However, I would rather have that unpleasant smell for 2-3 days than have pack rats gain entry into my home. If people would prefer to set mouse/rat traps, then this is a good trap. But, I would rather recommend the bar bait/mouse trap solution to friends, because it is a much easier way & faster way to rid your property of rats/mice before they gain entry into your home. We usually don't see any signs of mice/rat until fall weather sets in. Now if I can just convince my spouse to put the bar bait under our home before the mice even have a chance to gain entry into our home.
Set trap and it snapped me. Finally got set and didn't catch anything. Tried all the suggestions and it didn't work. Ended up using traditional old fashion trap and got the tricky smart pain!
