Vikings is a masterpiece
Curiousity lead me to give this show a chance and I was not dissapointed. The show has lots of action and great story telling that gets you to really care for the characters. The show really gives you good insight on how the Vikings may have actually lived. A great culture that even with their brutality they still had great live for their families and community. The cast are incredible and the show is very well written the locations are beautiful and the action is fierce.

Slower moving introduction to the lives of this family /village group. Extremely interesting and to see the structures and the clothing and food. So interesting.

I caught a couple episodes of this series on the history channel, It was somewhere in the middle of season two. Kept thinking about it and how much I liked what I saw, so I decided to invest in Season One thru Three. I absolutely love this series, it is very intriguing and never a dull moment. I watch the Vikings with my 79 year old mother, we tell ourselves "OK we'll watch one-two episodes a night", but we have found ourselves not able to only watch one or two episodes because it is such a good story we end up watching two to four episodes back to back. I feel my money was well spent and the pleasure of owning the DVD's is NO COMMERCIALS.......Yeah!!
