Love the tablet, but the bumper it came with does not make it look like the one in the picture.... kind of disappointed about that one. The tablet itself is great. They gave a free upgrade from a 7" to an 8" tablet. My biggest concern with getting a regular tablet for my son was him being able to download apps. I found an app that blocks stuff like that without a password.
I got this for my Grandaughter so she can watch her videos on YouTube kids and hulu. She is two and can navigate it well. The sound isn't great. Her little ears hear it just fine though. Overall I like this product. We have only had it a couple weeks.
I bought the tablet for my grandson for Christmas and it arrived early. He loves it and so far so good. I didn't know what to expect, but I'm happy I got it.
I purchase these for my grandkids/ they are and 2 years old and 3. This has given my son and his wife, peace in the house my 2 year old grandchild is autistic. This has kept him intrique, he loves it. This has kept him busy, now his parents have time to learn with him. the 3 year old loves it.
Seems to work pretty good. Some times seems a little slow to open programs and load but once it gets going it is great. My son loves it as his first tablet.
Because this is a Christmas Gift for an 8 year old, we haven't had it operational yet, so more to come in a few weeks. However, I am compelled to share for those that may be considering it. I figured we would open the box and send it right back. No! I'm truly impressed with the looks of it and the bumpers!! They will definitely protect the tablet against damage. I hope I'm as pleased with performance!! To be continued....
Had for a year now and it's so slow I want to throw it. Little lone a child. And 15 days to return electronic now???? Was busy at holidays and didn't figure out how awful this was until later. So won't ever buy electronics from Walmart unless I know it's guaranteed to work.
I have been buying/shopping from Walmart as long as I could remember, now that I am older I do a lot of my shopping online. A few years ago one of my daughters bought me a tablet for Mother's Day. I recently start using it because of our little 5 and 6 year old sons who wanted to use it for their educational games or to download from Google Play Store. Anyway, my husband asked me to find something for the boys that is easy to managed and use for our sons. I thought I found the one--Visual Land Prestige Elite FamTab with WiFi 7" Touchscreen Tablet PC Featuring Android Kit Kat 4.4 Operating System....I do not make comments or reviews at all but I had to write this one! I bought a blue and green Visual Land Prestige Elite FamTab with WiFi 7" Touchscreen on March 31, 2016, paid for next day delivery and received them April 1, 2016. I was very happy when the products arrived but very unhappy when I set up the tablets for our son and they will not upload, download, restart, the screen stayed frozen and my husband tried to reset and it would not and he is a Computer Engineer!! He was very, very upset and so was I. I am returning this product back today April 2, 2016!!
Too expensive - for something outdated - should not charge any thing over $30. I typically am a take or leave with tech. I hate it but the world forces you into tech. Saying that - I bought this for google - yet, after a lot of "back ways" in approaches - I was able to get some of the google apps to work. But have a lot of patience - every click - SLOWWWW! wanted for google classroom, I have a special needs child - about K grade - after about an hour - we learned basically classroom is assigned slides in edit mode, which are not locked - and child gets very frustrated because essentially the child is editing the slide - hence the reason for making a copy. he is better at sliding his finger than using a mouse. ANYWAYS, I gave up - downloaded PBS video app and youtube kids app - good enough for now. at least the videos play decent so far - just download and install apps and clicks are super slow. ALSO viewing screen is about 6" by just over 3", really small for google slides anyways. my old tablet was larger and much better - why this product should be much, much cheaper. Sorry - but that is the truth from someone who never leaves reviews on tech products. I hate this and paid too much for an outdated, slow tech product :(
we bought two tablets. both chargers stopped working. one tablet blinks and does nothing else. when they were working you could on stay on them for maybe an hour then the battery stopped working. we have had them less then 2 months.
