Vitalis Hair Tonic, for All Hair Types, 7 oz

It is not exactly the product I used in 1958, but then neither am I. Still, it is close enough. It is inexpensive and has just enough hold to make my hair look good and smell vital again, without the Dapper Dan or Brylcreem look. I recommend it as a pleasant blast from the past. I tried to find the real thing, but chose this one because the color of the dye looked more accurate than some others, which seemed like faded yellow. I am just grateful that someone made a facsimile of it so I can pretend I have still got it.

Well the product is as it has always been just great. I had initially ordered it online and it was never received. Walmart.com did refund my order and I then ordered it pick up today. It was an inconvenience but I now have the product. So if given the opportunity to rate the fulfillment department it would be -1 ☆.

It really hold my hair well without greasy look. This has been my favorite hair tonic since my high school days. For decades i don't see grey hairs on my head. Thank God 🙏

I remember using this decades ago, and it is still a good product to keep hair in place without making it stiff or greasy. I would prefer it to be odorless, but my understanding is that some prefer the slight fragrance.

Vitalis Hair Tonic performs as stated. Put some on you damp hair and the rub it in your hair. You can shape your hair without a comb and your hair looks dry, not greasy. The price is right.

So glad to find that Vitalis is still sold .. I love it. My wife is constantly telling me how much she likes how I smell.

product should have an inner seal. So that during delivery, it won't leak when the flip lid pops open. The usage of product is good. packaging needs improvement.

I went to Walmart to get the Vitalis. I was told that it wasn't stocked in the store and I needed to order it online. I went home and ordered it online. When I got the order confirmation it said I could pick it up any time. If it was available that quick, it must have already been at the store. Why did I have to order it online and pay a shipping fee when it was obviously available at the store? If I had been able to purchase it in the store, I wouldn't have had to pay shipping and make another trip to get it. I have been a longtime customer of Walmart but this deal left me with a bad feeling about Walmart. I believe that it was just a way for Walmart to make more money by charging a shipping fee for something that was obviously available at the store.

I think it smells really bad and reminds me of a funeral home for some reason. It likely serves its purpose but the odor is very bad. I prefer Brylcreem myself. I hate to say this but I don't think this odor would appeal to most younger people. I think it was popular for the older generation though. I am older but I still don't like it. I bought it to slick down my hair in the car if it is sticking up and I don't notice it.
