Great picture and sound quality from the TV speakers. Bit of a challenge with the set up process as you are required to set up a Vizio account before you can complete the installation.
Works great on our WIFI, simple and afforable.
So far, so good. The new TVs don't seem as robust as the old ones. However, the picture quality is really good.
Perhaps I missed some fine print somewhere on the product's webpage, but I had no idea that the TV would not start up with my creating an account with Vizio and letting it harvest a lot of personal data, show ads, etc. This setup process was exasperating. We were on the phone with Vizio's customer support for nearly 40 minutes. Granted, we are not adept in the ways of the iPhone. But that should not be necessary. I have setup many TVs without any such needs. I resent Vizio and will never by from them again. I suggest that Walmart place notice of requirements such as this prominently and highlighted at the beginning of any such web page. Also the same on in-store displays.
The TV does not allow you to download apps to the system. You must use your phone to access at given app and then your phone becomes the addressable piece of the puzzle. Very confusing and not at all convenient
Nothing in the description says in order to activate the tv for viewing you must pay an activation fee
I have a complaint. The item I purchased was to be NEW but instead was an OPEN BOX item. The box was resealed and was missing screws to mount the legs and any Instructions and warrantee / installation information.
Very hard to get activation and the person on the help line(TONY) gave me deceiving information about my options for service. Very slow processor, but the bad advise from TONY is the deal breaker for me!
This TV nagged us from the beginning about registering and creating an account. Then, after 6 months, the picture just went black. Tech support was not helpful and somewhat combative.
Have had problems since the purchase. Keeps dropping internet.
