It took me several minutes to figure out how to get it to work with just my attic antenna. I have a Roku but didn't want it to connect through that. After disconnecting the Roku and the internet, I skipped everything until it took me to the tv searching for tv channels (over the air). After that, I used the input button on the remote to take me to the channels and not Roku or my computer. Unlike the remote to my Samsung, I can't pull up a menu to show me what's what on the channel selection (yet). The picture is great and easy to adjust (pic). The sound quality is far superior to the same size Samsung I had. While I'm not the brightest elderly bulb in the package, I was actually able to figure this tv out and love it. For my bedroom it is the perfect size.
VIZIO has great graphics and has always been our first choice in tv's. SLEEK GREAT COLOR AND PICTURE, LED, PRICED AT AN AFFORDABLE PRICE! GREAT FOR GAMING! EASY TO MOVE AROUND IF NEEDED! IT IS A SMART TV TO TOP IT OFF! EASILY DOWNLOAD APPS, PLUTO TV, YOU TUBE, ETC. Waiting for my Xbox to hook it up for gaming! FRIGGIN AMAZING!! %23LOVEIT!!
The TV arrived two days earlier than expected. I wanted a TV about this size to use as a computer monitor with built in stereo speakers, and I wanted two HDMI ports. It's hard to find monitors with speakers built in and two HDMI ports. The image is very sharp and fine for my needs. I won't be using it for gaming or anything high tech so it fits my needs just fine. I doubt I'll do any streaming thru Netflix or the other services.
I have received this order, and I love it. It is a great little kitchen television at a great price.
Not a smart TV. Even Roku and Fire smart TVs have issues. I want streaming features and I bought a Roku; it's speedy and doesn't crash. Entry level TVs like this one are sold at a loss. Alternative revenue streams is how they get that money back: an ad for a Disney movie at the front of the box offsets the cost. Data mining is the other road that Vizio takes here. The smart features are displayed prominently because they want your information to sell to third parties. I do not connect my TV to the Internet and use antenna and my Roku Express 4K . There are several dead pixels on the right side. Viewing angle is not the best. Speakers are nothing great but I have heard worse. I attached a pair of PC speakers to boost the volume. It changes channels quickly and integrates with my Roku well. I want to hide their "smart" features from my input list. I can't. It worked well when I have my Xbox series S hooked up to it also. Updates to their proprietary software are going to be less frequent than you get with a separate streaming player. Seems I have read that you cannot add channels to the built in steaming features. I am happy with it for my use set: over-air TV and my Roku Express 4K device. Stay away from hooking this little girl up to the Internet and do not consider using the smart TV features that are built in as they will only cause you pain later down the road.
Great picture, it’s hard to find a smaller TV with full 1080p, most only come in at 720p. The sound is horrible. While the bezelless design looks great, Vizio chose to place the speakers facing down across the bottom. The sound is very “tinny”, we ended up buying a Vizio soundbar and are much happier. The smart interface is clunky and slow. We used this TV to replace a non-smart Vizio that we had a Roku device hooked up to. The Roku interface was quicker and more direct. Vizio has too much advertising for free movies and shows. You have to click at least 3-4 times before you actually get to the streaming channels row. While the remote does offer 6 click-to open buttons, the apps we mainly use are not part of those 6. Would be nice to have a cleaner interface. Overall we are happy mainly for the picture quality and size. The soundbar helped tremendously with the sound issue, but did cause us to pay more.
I thought it was identical to my previous Vizio 24" that died. however, I discovered as soon as I unpacked it that this new one did not have a wired ethernet connection where the old one did. Very disappointed in this, but I have to live with it now.
Product didn't come with mounting screws for the two legs, and the process to have Vizio send those screws was frustrating and time conxuming - and i'm still not positive I will receive the screws. I did't want to use m=y own screws because the size i was given for the proper screws didh't make sense. Also, after trying to modify the video and sound to make the picture more life-like, and the audio less tinny souonding did not work. It is what it is for the price.
TV set arrived only to find out that it had been damaged prior to my receipt. So damaged that I had to return it to the store for a refund. I did order a replacement and it arrived 3 days later and seems to be in good shape. The sound on this set does need definite improvement as the small speakers under the bottom of the set sometimes causes the sound to be somewhat muffled.
brand new smart tv is not compatible with 5g! I've been on the phone all day trying to connect to finally learn from a Vizio support person it's not compatible. This info should have been part of the description.
