VIZIO 24 inch Class D-Series FHD LED Smart TV D24f-J09

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this from someone on facebook, when i set it up the other day, i loved how much the sound options varied. Height simulation, surround sound options, panning (which is grear because i want my sound to be centered in my room because the tv is in the corner) and it also includes bass, mid, and treble eq.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the 40inch D series TV. It allows for connection to all the streaming services I use and music apps like Pandora. The Vizio Free and other channels made it the perfect TV for me post-cable. Great picture - sound is solid. If you want a good sized TV for a fair price, this is a good buy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first modern flatscreen was a Vizio, and I've personally bought them both new and used ever since. I currently have 3 TV's (the 40", two 20" but one needs repairs) and a soundbar and they never let me down. This 40" I bought used and it is in rather nice condition, all the features work and the screen is clear and clean. If the previous owner was rough with it, you can't tell ... if they weren't and took care of it, then I understand becuase I would too. These are good TV's and they've never let me down, and even new they're still affordable ... at least until AI makes them expensive, lol. If you can get your hands on a Vizio, good, bad, left, right, new, used, today, tomorrow ... then do it ^_^

The picture quality is sharp for its size, and the built-in Vizio smart platform makes accessing streaming apps straightforward and easy to use. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Second one of this model I've had, first one's speakers gave out. This one's had since issues that have since self- resolved. Appreciate the dimming abilities and lack of unnecessary LED when the TV's off. Lovely screen, easy to use remote. Cannot however stand WatchFree nor Vizio's updates to live TV on screen remote/channel changer. Used to be great/ normal, before WatchFree. Sigh

The TV does not allow you to download apps to the system. You must use your phone to access at given app and then your phone becomes the addressable piece of the puzzle. Very confusing and not at all convenient

I was changing my internet provider and for some reason the TV wouldn't connect. This wasn't a new purchase- I had reset the TV to factory settings hoping to change the Network settings. All my other devices connected, so my assumption is that the TV is the issue.

Very hard to get activation and the person on the help line(TONY) gave me deceiving information about my options for service. Very slow processor, but the bad advise from TONY is the deal breaker for me!

I have a complaint. The item I purchased was to be NEW but instead was an OPEN BOX item. The box was resealed and was missing screws to mount the legs and any Instructions and warrantee / installation information.

My TV has been working perfectly for the last 5 years. I registered the product through WalMart/Vizio and all the interface does not work; no apps, nothing. Researched the issues and it appears that registering created a barrier in the system. All option to correct did not help. The recommendation was to use a Firestick or similar to obtain access to the apps, making the premise of having a Smart TV obsolete.
