I got the VIZIO 32 Class HD Smart TV because I needed a television for the bedroom. It is the perfect size and the LED backlighting provides high resolution picture consistency which ensures picture quality. Vibrant colors! It lets me access Netflix, YouTube and Hulu as well as music directly from the TV along with streaming thousands of Chromecast apps straight from my phone to the TV. Fast and easy set up right out of the box. Was watching a show 20 minutes after adding it to my WiFi network. Highly recommend this wonderful VIZIO 32 television in any room of the house.
This is my first experience with a smart TV and I must say it is very convenient. I usually use a ROKU for my TVs but with this smart TV, there is no need. It has all the apps that I would normally use. The setup was very simple. It walks you through questions to set it up and this performed excellent. After connecting to my WIFI, I was able to access my favorite apps. Also, it automatically scans for local channels so if using with a cable box or antenna, please have it connected prior to setup. The picture was very clear. I did not tinker with any settings (unlike my older Toshiba set) and everything seems crystal sharp. I am not sure the attached picture does the screen justice, but wanted to show the first screen of included apps.
I was very pleased with this tv, I decided to make an upgrade to a smart tv it's my first one and I was not looking to go crazy.. I was happy it arrived with no damage, the screen is actually a little bit bigger then my last tv, the picture is very clear and the sound is awesome, the set up was really easy I was worried cuz I'm a bit on the non tech side but it walks you right thru step by step easy least... I'm very pleased with my purchase ...
For those of you that can set up electronics so easily, I envy you. For those of us that are not technically inclined, I for one don't like to change to the newest products because the idea of trying to set it up is a nightmare. This television came in, I looked at it for awhile, then called around to see if I could get someone to set it up. Of course no one was available. I took a deep breath, turned it on, followed the instructions, and it was up and running in no time. This is absolutely amazing. After sitting there in shock for awhile, I started going through the different things available. Everything came up and worked easily and fast. The picture is very crisp and clear. Going from one site to another is easy and goes very quickly. I have to say, I called a lot of my friends, who are the same as I am with technology and told them about this television. I think there will be a run on them at our local store. This is a great television and they seemed to have realized a lot of people need this type of product. I say thank you, you made my day. I very highly recommend this product.
This is a pretty basic, entry level TV as TVs go these days. The picture is decent. But you have to remember this is a 720p set, not a 1080 - and it shows. The picture simply is nowhere as good as most 1080 sets. Aside from that, it's fairly easy to set up if you have some experience setting up flat screen TVs. I say that because the instructions, whether in the quick set-up sheet or in the online instructions do not reflect the menu and commands on the screen. For example, there is no "menu" button on the remote. You need to press the setting icon (gear wheel) to get to what looks like a menu. If you have never set up one of the tvs before, it cud be very challenging trying to decipher the instructions. It comes with a lot of easy to access apps. Sound quality is good. There are a huge amount of settings that can be tinkered with on this tv, especially for the display. But again, it's a 720 tv, so no matter what you do you're not going to turn it into a 1080. For it's price, it's a decent a TV for a spare bedroom, a home office. a basement workshop, etc. I would not recommend it as your primary tv, even for a college dorm unless finances prohibit you from spending a bit more on a 1080 set. (I've had this operating for a couple of days now and still have not figured out how to turn it off with just the cable remote!}
We ordered this TV online as a gift. With this being a gift, the event in which we would give was 31 days after purchase. When we opened the box, which was sealed and everything was still wrapped, we found the display to be damaged. Walmart would not refund or replace due to the fact that their return window is 30 days not 31 days. Vizio also would not cover a repair or replacement because this type of damage is not covered by their manufactures warranty. BUYER BEWARE - do not purchase a Vizio products if their company won't stand by defects and problems that occur during the time it comes off their production line and enters your home. I will never purchase anything from Vizio again and will post my negative experience with this company everywhere possible. This company would rather stick by their manufactures warranty for a product that's less than $125 and lose a customer instead of helping to resolve.
I'm constantly having to reboot the television due to an inability for the incredible cheap wifi card to stay connected. I even purchased a wifi extender to help since the router is about 9 feet away with absolutely no obstacles in the way. I will be returning this piece of junk.
I was really disappointed in this TV. I've had three Vizios before this,and this one had a really poor menu design where you can barely see the Local Channel your on because the text is tiny. Other menu features are just terrible. Also I had trouble with the local channels not showing at all,and also the volume stopped working . I had to unplug the TV and hold down the power button to perform a reset. This should not happen to a new TV. I'm disappointed with Vizio now
So I bought this tv June 2021 and right off the bat the speakers started to distort. Because I ordered on Walmart.com the store wouldn’t change it out. The processor speed is annoyingly slow. Now June of 2022 I turned it on only to find the black in the picture is replaced with all red color. On a positive note, when you dial in the picture it is a pretty nice picture.
The box was delivered to my house completely torn on the side. This was going to be wrapped as a Christmas gift. It took some work, but I managed to get it somewhat pieced back together and taped. It's not going to be a pretty wrap job, but I had to do what I had to do. I wasn't about to go stand in the long lines at the store to exchange it. It should have never been delivered in that condition from Walmart in the first place. They aren't doing to great a job these days with the shipments, curbside or otherwise. I'm seeing more damaged goods that shouldn't be passed off onto the customer who is paying the high prices. Sadly, this is the way things are just going to be evidently. We pay higher and higher prices for mediocre product only to find out half the time it's damaged. Then you have to be the one inconvenienced to fight the store, lines and workers to try to get what you ordered in the first place. What a joke businesses are these days. Hang on, folks. The ride is only going to get worse, not better.
