VIZIO 40" Class D-Series FHD LED Smart TV D40f-J09

I love my new tv, but I'm not too impressed with the new streaming service. Too much work to find the station one wants to watch. But that's not the tv's fault. There is a terrific picture. The remote is easy to use. When the system isn't buffering the sound is clear and crisp. This is my second Vizio, I only got a new one because I needed a smart television.

Moved into a lovely MIL suite (“Thank you, son, for building this beautiful house, AND for providing an awesome apartment in it for me.”) and needed an upgrade from my old bulky TV. We trust Walmart so we checked out their inventory, and…Voilà! Found the perfect set for my sitting room. Just the right size (doesn’t overwhelm the room or scream, “Notice me instead of all these antiques 😝”). The picture is perfect, the options are easily accessed; I could not be happier.

This tv has such a great, clear picture! It's a perfect size for my bedroom. I love that all the apps I normally use to stream my shows and movies are already on it and I didn't have to download them or look for them. It makes it super easy for anyone to use!

This is a perfect size tv for what we needed. It was very easy to set up the remote works great. The resolution and color are good. If you’re not straight in front of the tv the picture is not perfect but I think that goes with any tv. Very sleek and modern looking!

Within the first few minutes of setting up the tv fresh out of the box, the volume buttons on the remote had issues. Couple weeks later, the whole top half of the buttons on the remote stopped working, had to download the Vizio app but also had trouble connecting to the app. Now, 2 months later, white lines across the screen appeared. Did all the trouble shooting they suggested and nothings helped. Got the warranty but idk if they’ll even do anything about it. Very disappointed.

It was broken. I paid a handyman $65.00 to hang the tv on the wall, only for it to be broken. I had hired him specifically for the tv. Walmart wasn't willing to do anything. They weren't willing to refund my money because my receipt was packed in a box. I'm in the process of moving. I had to call Vizio. What a headache on top of the stress if moving! Ugh! Makes me not want to shop at Walmart again. Their customer service is the worst...by far!!! F!!!

Plug it in before you waste your time installing it. Got it installed and turned it on. The screen was all cracked, then I had th borrow a truck to get it back to the store to return it! Now I won’t get the Black Friday price to order another one!

The picture quality is great, but the tv does not have a broadcast guide in it. How can you watch if you don't know what's on. The remote control doesn't work half the time, I allways have problems trying to change channels. I don't recommend this tv. I have a return processing. May get another TCL.

This D series is defective. My sister had warned me that she had to return 2 of these models she had purchased as gifts. She said that the picture just out of the blue had multiple lines in it making it impossible to watch. Lo and behold, one day I turned mine on and viola, lines in the picture. Called Walmart Customer Service who referred me to Vizio Customer Service. Now I must wait to be refunded. Don't waste your money on this series, you'll regret it.

Most horrible service ever and delivery was trash I called customer service because my tv was stolen and they told me to file a police report which is extremely disappointing I order this tv for my 12 year old daughter to come home to absolutely none thing this is who the item was left at my door I well never shop or order Walmart again trash service all around I see they like to steal people money was a horrible company wish o could give no stars
