VIZIO 40" Class Full HD 1080p LED Smart TV (VFD40M-08)

I bought this for over the air free TV broadcast. One thing got deep into settings and set it to open turning on to the channel it was on. Good, but then can't change channels until pressing Free TV button and back arrow. Then I can manage channels up down or by numbers on remote which most TVs don't have. The biggest annoyance is the previous button doesn't work at all, at least in over the air TV mode. I really miss going back and forth 2 channels. Set audio Dialogue Enhancer to high, great for me old man with poor hearing to hear the most important part, the dialogue. Love that feature, it has off, low, medium, and high. I use high, for me that is a great feature. Didn't need more than 1080p HD, that's what over the air broadcast is. But miss the previous channel button.

Very hard set based on Roku wanted a charge card. This was a birthday purchase for my grandson. I read the specs,an additional HDMI slot would have been nice. My grandson is happy because this TV functions better than his old 32inch that was hooked up to his Playstation 5.

This TV Requires you to setup a VIZIO account, Requires Internet connection at start up before you can do anything and kept stalling or timing out while in setup mode. I had purchased 2 of these for separate areas and both stalled out taking about 1-2hrs to setup on each tv.

We had the TV 3 weeks, then it quit. Vizio said they didn't have the part and would reimburse us. They gave us a hard time over the phone getting the reimbursement because we bought it online. Still waiting on the check. We were Vizio customers for years but no more.

Had I been able to set the TV up, I would have been able to give a better review. 1st issue-one of the legs is missing. I had to call Vizio to get a new leg which took 4 days. Then, when that finally arrived, the screws didn’t fit. That was the last straw. I returned it. I solely attribute these issues to Vizio and not to Walmart. Quality control is lacking.

Great overall value for the money. I like that it includes a lot of apps and it has a pretty decent picture quality. The sound is a bit low. My major issue is that this TV does not hold WiFi signal. It is horrible and extremely frustrating. You can't watch anything without the signal going out at least every two to five minutes.

Very sorry missed the return Window. I waited to review to make sure it didn't improve. Starting with putting the feet on. Yeah held in place with carpet sticky tape to keep it from falling forward. That was my first clue. Should have been returned right then Too much stuff on the screen you really can't get rid of. Even though it has instructions to it doesn't work. TV is terribly slow to respond once you use remote to change it. Remote does not have a pause and fast forward button as on previous versions we still use. The sound is the most disappointing. Music is almost unbearable to listen to. I swear this TV is getting worse in the month we have used it. It sounds scratchy when at normal volume. This just does not live up to the Vizio name. Will be the last one we ever purchase. So sorry we didn't return it when we could have. Now have had it 35 days. So disappointed. Do yourself a favor. Don't purchase this brand of TV.

This tv is so slow. It has a very long delay. For this to be a smart tv it's a disappointment. I want to take it back but my husband threw the box away

It looked fine when it came. I opened it up to find a screw missing for the leg of it, and also, the screen sat downward on my table. the screws looked badly used, and even having 3 screws didn't fit the legs of the tv. The legs were very wrong, awful experience! I'm taking it back with a full refund to the store soon.

This tv sucks I should have returned it immediately after I had it for a week but didn’t have the money for a new tv .. but this tv I have had the most problems with the for one I can’t play any of my apps without the tv freezing up and then it randomly says I’m not connected to my internet then I check the connection and I’m connected today the sound just wasn’t playing at all I have to hard reset to get it back none of my apps play like they should they lag and freeze up and I have the same app logged in on my Onn tv and they work just fine I HATE THIS BRAND AND TV WILL GO TO THE TRASH SOON
