VIZIO 50" Class 4K UHD LED HDR Smart TV (V4K50M-08)

My family's previous TV was a VIZIO we bought probably 15 or 16 years ago, and we loved that thing. It was our first big, flat television, and we mounted it on the wall of our living room, which is an awesome place to have a TV. Until it dies... Once that happened, we HAD to have a replacement right away, and when I found this one on the WalMart website, we were immediately relieved. It was in-stock at our local store, and same-day delivery was available. I bought it, and within hours, it appeared on our front porch!! Installation was a bit of a pain but not because of the TV. We'd misplaced the instructions for our wall-mounting bracket, and the situation was tense for a couple of hours until I found it online. Soon after that, our beautiful new TV was mounted on the wall and looks perfect!! This new TV is 4 inches bigger than our previous TV and cost approximately $100 less!!! The picture is bright, colorful, and crisp. It has easy, intuitive set-up and interfaces easily with our Amazon FireTV unit and Amazon Soundbar PLUS. We absolutely enjoy this television and recommend it for anyone looking for a great TV. Included is a photo of my sweet husband putting the finishing that dastardly wall mounting process.

I thought it was a good deal for a 50inch, picture is pretty good love that it’s a smart tv and the features it comes it but the sound is crappy. You will definitely need a soundbar for the tv I always have it up at around 87 just because of how low it sounds.

I would definitely recommend this Vizio TV. It has a great picture and the set up was very easy. The only thing I didn’t care for was the volume buttons on the remote which are on the side instead of on top with all the other buttons other than that, a perfect purchase.

Would I tell anyone to buy this TV ... Yes and No. I've had now at least may 3-4 months. The volume is an easy fix (sound bar). The current issue as of 2 weeks ago is that when turning the TV on it takes forever to show a picture. So I turn it off then back on %26 that usually helps. Pretty annoying for it to be less than 6 months old. Gotta check my warranty not sure I want the headache.

Replaced our RV TV with this Vizo Smart TV. I guess I should have done a little more research on this TV. TV has 3 HDMI plugs, 1 USB plug a 1 Din plug. I’m at that age where i use external headphones due to hearing loss. This TV does not have a RCA or headphone jack, so I can not hook up my headphones. The TV works good. . The Home Screen is a bit confusing and very “busy”. Sound could be better (non adjustable audio). The picture I feel can be a lot more crisp and clearer, but I guess that’s what you get for the price. Gonna keep tv as it in our 5th wheeler and not our daily tv. If that was the case, I’d definitely return it.

Vizio products do not sync with Samsung phone that's about the only issue I have the picture is not the best quality but for the price you can't beat it

I \ordered this 50 inch TV online, also purchasing the installation package, and additional warranty yesterday, and the TV was delivered today, but left on the outside porch. The delivery individuals stated that they would not install the TV, and proceeded to leave. I then called walmart, they referred me to ANGI, who then referred me to a company called Holotech. The individual there said walmart would call me back. Being 91, I can't install this myself. Thank you.

Walmart selling used products that have broken or badly displaying picture quality. You shouldn't be able to resell a item to another customer that has been deemed by a previous customer as faulty. Nobody is doing their due dilligence, this is the 3rd time Walmart has sold me what is clearly a used product at full price. Horrible.

Do NOT get this TV. I ordered this April 13th 2025, received it April 14th 2025 and as of today June 10th 2025, it's dead. I live alone so nothing hit it, or anything. $214 tax and shipping down the drain. This is the first and last time I buy anything electronic from Walmart.

Purchased 6 weeks ago and was initially very happy. However, few times it was hard to turn on.. pushed power button several times and wouldn't turn on. It would eventually turn on however last week tried to turn it on and got nothing but a black screen. No matter what we did, nothing worked. We called vizio and they said the electrical board may have gone bad. I tried to bring back to Walmart to exchange because I thought the reviews were good and maybe we just got a lemon. They wouldn't refund me because I was outside the 30 day window... I thought tvs were supposed to last more than a month?? Walmart staff said we had to call and handle with Vizio so after lugging the 50" tv and box back to the car, we called Vizio back and they're directly refunding us. I was going to repurchase but after digging deeper into the reviews, we'll be looking for something else. We loved the Vizio brand but what an unfortunate experience this has been. We'll be looking at other brands.
