We have always loved Vizio! I have had only one weird vizio experience out of the 7 I have owned. This one exceeds our expectations!! We keep this in our bedroom and love it because the close captioning is big enough for us to read without glasses. It is an amazing addition!
Great TV for the living room. So many features I never even thought were possible. Like automatically starting your console when switching the input. And putting the console into Rest Mode when you turn the TV off. No need to turn off the console itself. The definition is mind blowing. And 3 years warranty is a bonus.
Early in the game, but loving it so far. I'm coming from a much smaller screen and this is my first HD 4K, so I'm not going to be the most discriminating viewer...that said, such a deal on sale and with the 3 year warranty included as a Sam's perk, seems hard to beat.
I have purchased Vizio tvs for quite awhile and the quality is always excellent. The color is brilliant and amazing. This tv is picture perfect or as close as you can get to it. Vizio in my opinion gives the best bang for the buck and I have never been disappointed with any purchase. I so recommend this product and would purchase again if needed.
Powering on TV is slow. Many times, I have to press the power button twice. if you press the power button more than once, it becomes a big headache because there's no true indication besides a little light that receives a signal that doesn't necessarily mean the TV is turning on or off when you have to press the button more Than once
Really like my new Vizio 55” M Series TV! Great color and features. Easy set-up and 3 years warranty. I was disappointed that Sam's Club lowered the price of my TV $40 before it was delivered. Could have used that $40 for other Sam's Club purchases.
Ok, well good for price point...super disappointed with the blacks. Also if you're not directly in front of it the picture wildly deteriorates. Can only be at a slight angle at best for viewing purposes. Is this normal? IDK. The last time I bought a TV was 2015 so obviously I'm no expert. The last TV was a Samsung that has now migrated to my bedroom and the picture is still good as heck. Wish the remote was backlit and easier to use - and a little more substantial. I have small hands and the remote feels tiny and aloof, can't imagine what a normal-sized person would think. If someone who has this TV has some pointers I'm open to trying anything that improves the experience!
Maybe we got a dud. We were excited to test it out based on all the positive reviews. Our previous TV was a smart Samsung LED, which we had no problems with until our son accidentally bounced a video game controller off of it. Our impressions of this VIZIO were: -Screen not crisp (text looked blurry even after calibrating) -Menu had a lot of bloatware and we could not add/remove anything -Menu was not configurable (we have favorite apps and don't use others; couldn't put them in a specific order) -Did not sync reliably with our Samsung soundbar and could not control the volume without using a separate remote -The TV would not recognize that we had consoles/accessories plugged into the USB ports. For example, we could play on the game system but after a few minutes we would get a message on the screen that nothing was plugged in. We checked connections multiple times. We really tried to love this TV, but ended up returning it after a couple of days due to the issues noted above. Maybe some of it was user error, but we are pretty tech-savvy and read manuals, so most basic functions should not throw us for a loop. Bought another Samsung, setup was easy and completed quickly. We also think that the picture quality is better on the Samsung, which is a comparable model/price. Can't say I would recommend VIZIO based on this experience.
I originally got an m6 and that tv was overall bad and had a terrible panel. Fast forward and decided to upgrade to an m7 and it's a way better tv but mine has problems. I have no faith in Vizio's quality control now. The defects on mine are the audio will randomly cut out for about 10 seconds at a time and also the upper right corner will randomly lighten or darken on its own. I believe either something is wrong with that local dimming zone or the local dimming processor. I will say the m7 is a huge step up from the m6 assuming that you don't have any problems. But the OS is clunky and the remote feels cheap and is line of sight and feels laggy. The picture is pretty good if it's a 4k signal but the upscaling of lower res signals isnt great, even 1080 signal looks kinda blurry. The borders are huge at almost a half inch and to me it's distracting unless watching in the dark. I was attracted to vizio because I've always heard the over preformed for their price point but I'm done with Vizio's. Maybe I've just had bad luck and got a few bad models. Ymmv
Returned immediately. VIZIO 50" Class 4K UHD Quantum Smartcast Smart TV HDR M-Series M50Q7-H1 is defected from the factory. Vizio support is derelict, too. Bought Samsung 7 series next day and had zero problems. Especially no problems with what Vizio support was telling me like, "contact you cable provider" and "adjust the picture from your cable box, it's not our TV causing the problem." Ridiculous for the company to put a product like this on the market, the TV is factory defected. Zero stars if possible. AVOID.
