Vizio is a great brand name and we do not buy any other. Easy to set up, easy clear instructions walk you through till the end. The color is vivid, and the sound is clear. In this Smart TV, most of the Apps are already on the home screen. My personnel opinion is this is a great buy for the quality and value.
Really nice upgrade from smaller Vizio that I had for almost 10 years! Picture is great and I have enjoyed it. The set-up was super easy. The tv was packaged well although awkward to get out of the box, I was able to put this together and set it up by myself. Sound is also good. So far, no problems and I love it.
a great tv for the price. It has all the bells and whistles you need to stream. It is very easy to setup and get all the streaming services you want. The only negative is it does not have an espn app and does not have an app store to get and install more apps. I added an Amazon firestick and solved that problem. I would recomend it to anyone wanting a quality smart tv for a good price.
The best thing about this TV is the remote control. By far the best design and functionality in a remote that I have used. It has a button for closed captioning. No more stopping a program, flipping through menus, saving, then resuming the program. All the buttons used the most are reachable with the thumb. Setup was simple. Screen mirroring works seamlessly.
Brought this tv 1yr now, and before the yr was up Boom idk what happened. Screen first started having the whole bottom blocked off with a black bar and colored lines all across the bottom. That has since moved up the tv , each day we use this tv which is the primary television in my living room. Now it has big blotches of color thru the right side . It is on the wall ,so no animals or children can touch. Nothing has touched this tv, so dont know how or why this is happening !
This TV had a defect on the screen--a circular cloud in the center that affected darker scenes. We contacted Vizio and they had us do some things to try and fix it, but it couldn't be fixed. We are returning this to Walmart and buying a Samsung.
I bought my first Vizio in 2005 - a 50” plasma that weighs about 150 lbs & cost $2300. It still has a great picture & my stepson is still using it. Since then I’ve had 3 other Vizios - all great TVs. But this one is a bust. I’ve had it for 3 weeks & have experimented with the settings for hours trying to get a good picture, but it’s just a poor quality TV. Washed out colors & blurry edges even on Blu-Ray. If you’re watching from anywhere other than dead-center it makes the picture even worse. The remote control is overly simplified with no numbers, making it a pain in the neck to select channels. Not even a “return to previous channel” feature. I’m boxing it up & returning for a Samsung or LG.
I thought this would be a great TV my main entertainment. It seemed ok for awhile had to re boot seversl times to try and get horizontal lines out of picture. Turned out to be solid lines of half the screen. so disappointed now have a Samsung, so far so good.
Terrible picture quality when compared to a Samsung TV which costs only $100 more than this TV. On paper specs this seemed to be a better TV, but colors and smoothness just can't compare to the Samsung. Plus there were dark bands seen in the background. I actually thought that this TV was defective until I returned this TV to the store and saw that the store display Vizio had the same problems!
Have had this TV for less than 1 week and already have problem and need to take back to Walmart. I will have to pay someone to haul it back to them. Day number 3 of having it no picture, turned off and back on, no sound with picture, turned off again and couldn't get it to come on at all. Unplugged it over night and about 5 pm plugged it back up and it came on. The picture is dull looking. Would not recommend purchasing this TV!
