Best TV I have ever owned

CliffnSebring August 20, 2020

Then new 2021 M series M65Q8 is an outstanding Value and has many features that are only found on TVs well over $1000 The picture is absolutely gorgeous viewing Cable or Streaming from any of the built-in apps. The 800nits brightness and the 90 local dimming zones make for truly awesome viewing experience. 4 HDMI 2.1 Ports is more than enough. The sound is ok but I do recommend a sound bar to get the full Dolby Vision effects. After setting the TV up go to the YouTube app and search for HDR10 and Dolby Vision 4k the videos are Amazing some are over 8 hour's long. Netflix's 4K works great as does Amazon Video and Hulu. Although the TV is HDMI 2.1 you probably won't need any special cables the ones from the last few years labeled HDMI high speed (2.0) work just fine.

Everything I wanted!

Evan December 5, 2020

Great TV for the price. I can't believe how vivid the colors are. No clouding on gray or black screens. HDR gets plenty bright enough. The settings are a bit tricky, but once you find the right ones for you it's awesome. The VRR and other gaming features are great too. I didn't realize I was missing this much detail on my previous set.

Great Product, God Aweful Delivery Issues

Robert August 25, 2020

The TV is great. Major issues trying to get the TV delivered. It was in stock and available to arrive at our home in 2 days. It took weeks, multiple online chats and calls to Walmart, a cancelation/reorder, multiple calls to FedEx. I would not recommend buying anything from Walmart unless it is available in-store.

Worth it!!!

kerlicia November 17, 2020

Bought this tv after doing my research and it living up to the expectations. In other reviews i read that the sound wasn't 100% so I planned ahead and bought a sound bar as well. after setting it all up including mounting it im a happy camper... it looks awesome sounds awesome and the picture quality is out of this world... delivery was super quick and the driver was nice enough to bring it all the way in for me.

Nice Clear Picture

jomazob December 25, 2020

Everything came packaged very well. You will need a second person to place on TV stand. Pretty heavy unless you're a strong guy. The other thing is that two of the top screws that go on feet? Did not stay on. They maybe needed washers or whatever. Other than that it was so easy to set up since I just bought a 50' Vizio about two years ago so that will be going in my bedroom. I got the M series since the V series reviews were not so good. Paid a hundred or so more but so glad I did. Picture is very clear especially on Netflix and You tube channels. Thanks Walmart for always having the best prices. Oh and now I need a stand for it which I will most likely find her.

Buy Something Better

fullpwr December 1, 2020

very disappointed, my 7 year old Vizio M602i-B3 blows this thing out of the water, I know the M602 was a fancier model when it was new but I was hoping 7 years worth of new tech would impress for a middle of the road tv, the built in streaming app picture quality is terrible, pretty sad you have to plug in a $30 Firestick to get a decent picture, 4k content was decent on the tv but that's about it, this tv is definitely going back, surely not worth $750 for really no improvement in picture quality, there were also a few dead pixels in the middle of the screen not sure if it happened in shipping or it is a manufacturer's defect

Too complicated

Francis April 14, 2021

There was no instructions on how to program it to. The remote had buttons that I had no idea what they were for. When you tried to set the remote for channels the remote would change to something while you were hunting for the what you wanted. had to get a specialist to set it up. Then the sound went off

Good TV but pretty common problem with FALD.

Justin June 27, 2021

I loved this TV however with using FALD over low the bottom half of my screen flickered pretty consistently, wasn't a issue for SDR content but for HDR it was a problem. And for the price I could justify having a faulty TV when half the content I wanted to watch was gonna be hampered. And after searching online a lot of people seem to have this same issue, so sadly won't be getting another Vizio until this issue is fixed.

Very let down with unusable giant brick

Ryan August 16, 2020

Horrible software!! Upon turning it on, it immediately upgraded the firmware. I wanted to check how the picture was so immediately went to Youtube for some 4K videos. The first one played great, but then I couldn't get another video to play (even after rebooting multiple times). The same was true with the Chromecast - it displayed the title of what I was casting but never played it. AirPlay also did not work. Additionally, the remote just randomly doesn't work. You have to unplug the TV and try again. I wanted to like this TV, but I can't even use it.

Customer service..

Dianna December 4, 2020

Ordered 2 to come to house and waited over a week for each one. Received both and both screens was damaged really bad. We had to return these big TV back to store. Customer service would not even expedite a 3rd one after all that. So went to Sam's paid 200 more and brought home same day. So don't really know how to rate tv but Customer service gets a big zero.
