Vornado VH200 Space Heater with Vortex Circulation Technology, Champagne (New)

I'm very happy with the Vornado **** Personal Space Heater, it works and preforms like expected, however after I bought it I did find a slightly lower price elsewhere.

Vornado VH200. Intended use: personal heater for elderly father. This replaced other, less expensive heaters we had tried. The Vornado VH200 is a compact unit which heats efficiently. It is not large, but if set to higher levels, can raise the temperature of the room significantly. This should be taken into account if you are ordering one for personal space use. I have excellent hearing, but the Vornado is so quiet that we can't tell if it is running unless we look at the fan blades or the function and status lights. It delivers a tightly focused spiral of warm air, whose temperature is easily varied by the controls. The leftmost knob sets the ambient temperature at which the Vornado will energize and start heating. Lower settings maintain the immediate area cooler, and higher settings keep the immediate area warmer. It has a wide base, so it is stable and does not tip over easily. If it tips, it shuts off.

This small powerhouse of a heater battled every polar blast this past winter and emerged victorious. When our workday was done and we gathered in the living room to relax during the frigid winter, I turned on the heater and waited. Just a short time later, the temperature went from chilly to cozy.

Another great Vornado product. I had several of their fans, and they are just great. This little heater does not disappoint.

This heater is very quiet, but doesn't push out as much heat as I hoped. Still better than the old space heater I was using.

It warms up a small room quickly but then only has one fan speed which makes a noticeable sound. The 3 options are for amount of heat produced but the fan stays the same. I wish you could adjust the fan as well.

It has a humming sound. It is not normal for a Vornado. Vornado is very quiet. It is my experience with all the ones I had have. It must be a defect.

Purchased this since it was well reviewed as being quiet. While more quiet than my other heater, it is not whisper quiet as hoped. It is a fairly low noise fan, but still louder than a typical computer fan. Simple fan blowing over what appears to be a thin nichrome coil. At twice the price of other small space heaters, I don't think it is worth the extra cost.

I guess they are using a cheaper plastic for the latest models because it gives off a strong odor even when not in use. I used it outside for several hours and it still had an odor. So I stored it in the garage for 7 weeks and it still has an odor. My previous VH200 from six years ago didn't have that problem

wow what junk, barely warms up a small area directly in front of it. Super under powered. Vornado I'm let down, the best fans, etc etc. I may return this thing
