This product saves time in that you don't have to keep going to the pan to get paint. And it saves the wrist too from that repetitive action. I have bought these in the past and spent hours cleaning them afterwards - this time I just considered it disposable and tossed it out after one use. Worth the price paid.

This is the second time I've purchased a paint roller like like this. The first was 14 years ago and I've considered it one of my secret weapons ever since! ( the other is the red hand held paint edger with the little white wheels). I was able to paint my entire family room and kitchen in one day mess free! Read the instructions, keep the lubricant for future use. Only use the splatter guard for ceilings or it gets in the way. The only hassle is cleaning it after you're done, it takes some patience, but it's worth it! If Oprah ever did her own painting, this would certainly be one her her famous Favorite Things!

I thought this product was a great time saver for the money, and it was much less messy than using a tray. I would highly recommend this product for use in large room for larger paint jobs. Would be hard to use in smaller rooms due to the size of the handle which has to be extended in order to hold the paint. The product was really no harder to clean up than a standard tray and roller. One thing to note, that I wasn't sure of when I bought the product, is that you'll have to buy special replacement rollers for this. You can't just buy standard rollers at Home Depot, and I'm not sure how hard the rollers are going to be able to find in stores or if you'll have to plan ahead and order online.

I bought it for the price, only have a small condo so my intention was to paint the interior then throw it away, the design works well, the problem being the duck bill fill valve, I noticed online ton`s of complaints about the duck bill fill valve not closing right after several uses, leaking paint. There`s a easy fix, AFTER FILLING, UNSCREW THE CAP , PUT A QUARTER IN THERE AND SCREW IT BACK ON. And it works well, also you can tear off a piece of plastic bag and put on there. It only takes a couple seconds to do, and no leaks. Otherwise it works as it should.

I like the convenience of the paint in the tube as apposed to dipping and dripping

I had an older model of this product that was far superior to this "reengineered" model. The old model was held together with a wing nut but this new model is simply pushed together. When you make a "w"on the wall it pops apart spilling your paint everywhere. It wasted over 1/2 gallon of paint doing one room. I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone. I returned it for a refund. Jay

Open right away. Ordered this item in September but due to life issues did not open pkg until March. Parts were missing and parts put together and greasy.

Cheap made. Would not pull paint up from paint can! Did not receive in time promised!

When this roller works its fantastic, however it only does that for a gallon of paint and then it drips all over the place. I thought I was doing something wrong the first time I used it, so I cleaned it up and put it away and finished with a manual roller. The following time when I tried it, it did the same thing. What a pain, it bad enough that the clean-up on this thing takes about a 1/2 hour which you can deduct from the time you save with it, but when you have to deal with the clean-up of the dripped paint all over it is definitely not worth it. It's really too bad because for larger projects it would be a real time saver.
