Wagner Control Spray Double Duty 400W Hand Held HVLP Paint Sprayer

This Wagner Control Spray Double Duty Sprayer solved all the problem I experienced with previously owned Wagner sprayers, the problem of spilling paint while holding the filled paint reservoir in one hand and with the other hand trying to screw power unit on to it. This unit was completely redesigned so it only requires a 45 degree swing to attach power unit to the filled reservoir. It has a 48 ounce reservoir so you don't have to refill so frequently and the volume control and spray pattern are so superior it defies any comparison to previous models. I bought it to stain some cedar siding shingles on my house, I first tried my old Wagner Project Sprayer and it was a disaster, but when I used the new sprayer it was unbelievable easy, hardly any overspray, no dripping it actually made the project an enjoyable activity.

I love this item. I used this on my walls took lot less time to do and also evenly spreaded across. I also used it on my floor to stain and gloss them with no problem at all. I would d highly recommend this for anyone to purchase. The picture below is rough draft you can say wasn't quite finished with everything. Keep in mind I'm a beginner.

It's messy. You have to thin the paint and you have to be very, very careful about cleaning it up when you're done for the day, but the bottom line is it works and it works well.

I have been spraying Flood stain on my fence, I have tried the brushes and the rollers. I should have bought this sprayer to start with I did not even have to thin out the stain at all and it goes on perfect!!!clean up took less than 5 minutes.

I bought this power sprayer to paint my new wooden fence. It is my first experience with a power sprayer. I've always wanted one and this one wasn't disappointing. My project turned out real nice. I wanted use a stain on my fence to protect the wood and make it last longer as suggested by my contractor. It was easier to use and clean up than I imagined. I would strongly recommend it.

My project was to spray paint my kitchen cabinet doors. The sprayer worked great. I was using Behr's Premium Ultra Indoor Semi-gloss paint. It is both paint and primer combined. It is very thick so you have to dilute it down quite a bit so the paint will go through the sprayer. I had read that the paint needed to have about a 55 second flow rate through the timing cup provided with the sprayer. In order to get to that number I had to do a lot of diluting. I ended up adding, per gallon, 1 quart of Floetrol, which is pretty thick itself, and 1 quart and 8 ounces of water. That brought me to a 55 second flow rate. That sounds like a lot of water, but you need it with this paint. At that dilution, the sprayer worked great. The finished job (two coats) looks fantastic. There is very little overspray so you do not waste hardly any paint. I was using a light beige colored paint. Even at that dilution, there was not any noticable change in color. I highly recommend the sprayer. However, it is absolutely essential that you get that flow rate down to at least 55 seconds or below. It is also essential that you keep the spray head clean of any paint that may build up during the job. A quick wipe with a soft paper towel did the trick. I simply wiped the spray head after spraying each door. Cleaning the sprayer is quite easy. It should take not more than 10 minutes to clean it and reassemble it.

I bought this sprayer to finish staining our wood patio furniture. Painting by brush was taking my son and me hours. Spraying was so much easier and faster-and the results were great. The modular construction of the unit made it a piece of cake to clean. I'm kind of looking forward to the next project, which for me is something since I hate painting.

I am using this for a cabinet painting project.. I have found it easy to use and clean. I'm using latex paint so that makes it a pretty easy cleanup process. Just e sure to thoroughly clean it out otherwise it won't work correctly. Read the manual so you don't waste paint like I did because I didn't adjust the flow. That will determine how much paint comes out when spraying. Also be sure to set the spray pattern. My cabinets are turning out great and this product had a lot to do with that!

I've been with Wagner many, many years and have used primarily their sprayers. This particular sprayer caught my attention for a couple of reasons. One, it's dual material usage and two, the fact that it could be used indoors or out. The price on this model wasn't bad either considering all it's capable of doing. I originally bought this to paint and seal a trellis of my wife's and this sprayer was the perfect choice! It sprayed the material with ease, laid it right down where I wanted it and in the amount I wanted all while being surprisingly quiet! Additionally, this sprayer is easy to maintain and clean which is a real plus for me! I don't have time to spend the rest of my day cleaning a sprayer and Wagner with this sprayer made clean up a breeze. If you're considering buying a sprayer for the very first time or just need an occasional sprayer for those odd jobs, then this is the sprayer you want! It sprays both water and oil based paints and does so with great efficiency and is very stingy on the paint!

I painted one 16' long baseboard with a brush and it took 10 minutes. In the same time I was able to paint 160' with this sprayer. For paint I had to thin out according to instructions. The finish couldn't look better! Cleanup was actually easy. I will be using this to refinish all of my doors next weekend instead of over 5 weekends.
