Wahl Premium Cutting Guides #1-#8 Guides with Organizer..

Perfect fit for my old two or three decades old Wahl hair clipper model 8500 senior. Works better now than the original all plastic guides that came with it. Guides been partially broken and loose. Has been now useable again, for excellent hair cutting at home. Well worth the exact replacement guides and upgraded performance quality. Very fast shipping too. Very happy and can recommed.

Most of Wahl's clippers come with the standard plastic guide combs. They are OK, but they have flex in them as you are using them, and I also feel like the plastic mount attachment tabs are going to break eventually. I recently bought the Wahl Magic Clip clippers, and I wanted some quality guide combs that matched up, with the quality of the clippers. So I bought the premium guide combs to do just that. The premium guide combs are actually really nice. They are technically plastic too mostly, but they are a higher grade plastic, they don't so easily flex, and they have internal support, where the clipper blade rides up in. Additionally, the premium guide combs have metal attachment clips, so they are not going to break on you. They also make a very satisfying snap sound, when you attach the combs to the clipper. The premium guide combs will not come off the clippers, unless you intentionally take them off, so no chance of ruining a clients hair or your own, when using these. They come in the standard 8-pack of sizes, ranging from 1 to 8, and come with a blistered holder, which is really nice to have, especially if your running a barbershop or salon. Highly recommended 5 out of 5 stars!

I use these guards for my clients at the barbershop. The are the most durable guards. I just wish Wahl will make color coded plastic guards with the metal clips because the numbers fade and rub off after awhile of cleaning them. Other than that these are the best.

These guards are high quality and will last longer than the generic ones I purchased from a local beauty supply store. They shipped fast and are easy to use. I like the additional storage containers included with my purchase, it keeps them organized and ready to store.

I wish I would have purchased these clippers years ago.

The senior Cordless clipper, when using the attachments, only cuts when the clipper lever is closed and it takes quite a few passes to cut it clean. That was a little disappointing. As far as doing tapers it works fantastic, clipper over comb.
