Have not used it yet, because its winter. But this spring I cant wait to scoop up the largemouth bass. this item is big enough and the long handle will be useful compared to how i used to have to lay on my belly to net catch from my dock

I gave net to my nephew , he thought it was great. He's been asking for 2 summers. He's 5 years old, and a fishing fanatic. He telling use how big his fish will be this summer. Thank you Walmart, for making a little kids Christmas. God bless.

It's the best one to use when you fish by yourself. It's big enough long enough it's perfect.

The net is good quality, it's a rubber mesh that won't snag your hooks.. The net is a good size and is needed when you have a big fish on the line. It came nicely packaged in a box that I was not expecting. The price is very reasonable and the quality is good but there is one issue with this net. The one thing that would make this better is if the handle did not spin around. There is button that locks the handle in place when you extend. Because the handle spins, it makes it harder to lock in place. When every second counts, his could make the difference between landing that monster or losing it. For me, this a deal breaker. Otherwise an excellent net.

The net was great but the rod to hold it wasn't very strong.

Way too heavy to handle for my small goldfish pond. The net is much too large and handle is too short. May work well for a stronger larger person with a large pond.
