Wakeman Outdoors Camping Lantern with Ceiling Fan 18 LED Bulbs 2-Speed

I loved these things they were such a big help with the family camping trip. The light illuminates just enough to see everything in the tent without the overwhelming blinding you don't need while changing or looking for something while the kiddos are sleeping. The fans work better than expected, kept us cool throughout the night in the high setting. I now make sure they go with us every camping trip and by the way these things are very durable. They fell a few times and still work perfectly, just had to reattach the handle and boom your done. You wont regret it and for the price its worth giving them a try.

Used this product camping - both in the tent at night and under the EZ-up which serves as my kitchen/dining room. It gave a breeze sleeping in the tent - a real plus for being able to sleep - as well as plenty of light. Liked the hanging hook which stows away when you use it as a base unit on the floor. In the EZ-up it was great for keeping away all the pesky flying critters and for keeping the cooking area lit. The high/low option on the fan was a plus. I checked around several places online and Walmart had the best price with site to store (free shipping) and was available in 3 days. Winner.

Love it. Super bright light. Can hang on the ceiling if you clip it on something. Fan is nice. Keeps things moving. Can move or swivel to any direction

Recommend for canopies or tents. Good for LED lighting and fan is pretty good considering it's running on 2DD batteries. I"m not sure how long it lasts on a set of batteries yet but anything that moves hot air is a bonus to me.

I ordered this item off the Wal-Mart web site. It came on time before my camping trip. There were no instructions in the box so I just figured out how to load the 2 D batteries and get it going. There are two switches. One for the fan, which has two speeds and one for the light. All I needed was the light for my one night trip and it performed very well. I would recommend this item as it is cheaper than the Coleman version with the same features. I still need to do more camping trips and use it more often but I think this tent light and fan will work just fine.

Don't rely upon this as your primary light or cooling source, especially anywhere south of the Manson-Nixon line, but it is a cute little piece, and helpful insomuch as it does reach with the small fan and significantly-more-limited-than-described lighting. Great for a nightlight when camping, when Nature Calls in the middle of the night and you don't want to wake-up the whole tent with a big lantern, but I wouldn't try to read Moby Dick or do surgery by the light, nor depend upon the fan as a relief donation to rescue efforts in Haiti, New Orleans, anywhere south of Savannah, honestly.

THE LIGHTS LED ARE OK, BUT THE FAN IS USELESS, TOO WEAK, AND THE CONSTRUCTION IS SO BAD THAT IT BROKE AFTER 2 NIGHTS OF USE. NOT A CAMPING PRODUCT, ONLY A TOY LIGHT. THE HUNGER BROKE AS SOON AS WE HANG IT FIRST NIGHT, THEN IT STARTS TO FALL APART. THREW IT AWAY AFTER MY TRIP.

Unfortunately the lights did not work when I received this item at my local wal-mart. I love site 2 store pickup and I will order another to see if this one was just defected. I can say the fan is kinda weak but I believe it will serve its purpose for a upcoming camping treat on circulating the air in the tent.

I wasn't too impressed with the reviews on this product but thought I would take a shot.. This item arrived quickly but was broken in three places. I can't imagine it ever holding up on a camping trip.. Had to return it to a store.

I ordered three of these, the lights did not work and there was no hook as is shown in the picture. The good news is that my local wal mart accepted the return so I didn't have to mess with returning through the mail.
