Walker Edison Thea Mid-Century Two-Door TV Stand for TVs up to 80", Dark Walnut

I moved from a roommate situation recently and bought a lot of furniture for my new place ahead of time in Nov. 2023. I now had to assemble all the furniture I had bought and must say that this one was easier than the rest. Although I'm 64, I'm pretty handy with tools. I assembled it all on my own, and the biggest thrill was when I put the top on, and it just fit into place easily. I am very happy with this console. Just what I was hoping for.

I was actually very surprised with the quality of the laminate on this piece. My only complaint is that there are no pre-cut holes (or even perforated ones you can pop out if you want) for the bottom shelf areas. This makes the lower half of the piece practically unusable for electronics.

This piece is beautiful and is hefty and durable. Not cheaply made and easy to follow instructions. Looks great under our new TV and is a great mid century modern (mcm) piece.

This media stand was actually easy to assemble. Thankfully none of the boards were bent or collected any moisture. It is very sturdy once all the panels are in place. Holds a 65" Sony X900H with no issues. I will say that there is some discrepancies in the instructions. I believe Step 2

Great quality for the price. 4/5 stars because the top bows under the weight of our living room tv. Would not recommend for a tv with a center stand only. We had to switch this tv with our bedroom tv, which has two legs to distribute the weight.

Looks great in photos & the color is exactly right to match another piece I have but it looks & feels pretty low quality. It's very thin MDF & very artificial looking surface. Just doesn't look as substantial in my TV room as I'd hoped. Also wished the middle section with the glass shelf was a little smaller to make the covered sections a little bigger. At the very least it would be nice if they were all the same size compartments. Other than that, the price is decent & assembly was easy, all parts included/nothing missing.

I've owned this console for about 6 weeks and the thin material it is made out of is already sagging/warping from the weight of my TV (40 lbs). I will either have to reinforce it with more wood, or may just end up getting a different console. Otherwise I like it I suppose.

This stand is not very sturdy. It buckles under pressure of a 65" Sony TV. Fixing also is pretty tedious. I dont know what will happen if we put an 80" TV.

I just can't re-pack all the parts and take it to the store (It won't even fit in my car) and wait for another 2-3weeks to receive a new one . I just have to find a way to make that piece stay sturdy enough to hold my 55" TV. Very very disappointing..

When we received the TV stand we started the installation. While installing it we realized there are lots of factory problems make the installation disappointed. One of problem was on one of the legs. One screw actually does not fit because hole is in a different place than the place it actually supposed to be. Another one was inside cabinet. There are holes and holders but two of the holders were not fitting the holes well so it is not possible to place something on it. We would not expect that many factory problems from a product in that price.
