The box mentions a 20-inch fan, but the actual fan label says 18 inches, so it's unclear what the real size is. The blades are aluminum, which is nice, but they're attached to a plastic mount that doesn't feel very sturdy. I'm concerned about the durability of the screws holding the blades in place.
It's only been two days since installation, and I'm already noticing a burning smell. I assume it's from the new coil of the BLDC motor, but the odor seems stronger than expected for a new unit.
Another missing feature is manual oscillation control. The oscillation can only be controlled via remote, and there's no switch or button on the fan itself — which could be a problem if the remote stops working. I even emailed the manufacturer about this, but unfortunately, I haven't received any reply yet.
On a positive note, the fan looks very attractive and has a modern design.
