The bag held a lot of yard debris but getting it open to stand wasn't easy but I discovered if I put my leg in it it would open enough to stand on it's own. It was a very sturdy bag and it held a lot of the yard debris. After filling the bag it was easy to carry.
Outstanding trash bags. Easy to use strong tall with a generous room. Self stacking. On he outside it says expert gardener. I felt good about my yard work. We created an hoa years ago here as well as a park to raise the bald eagle. The bags are not just lawn bags but a testimony to the care we use in gardening here.
These are double bagged to give home durability. They opened and were extremely easy to open. Didn't rip when I stuffed in branches from the bags. Have purchased again and will continue to do so.
These bags are basically the same as other lawn waste bags and I usually always try to buy them on sale. Price on Walmart is competitive with other stores.
I purchased leaf bags from 2 different companies. the person who cleans my yard said he preferred the walmart bags. i will continue to buy my leaf bags at walmart.
These bags do what they should do. You can fit a lot of lawn debris inside of them. You have to be careful if you snap them open like a grocery bag because there prone to rip along the upper edge so gently open them. Sometimes twigs will poke through but they're pretty strong bags. The only thing I did not try was leave them out in the rain, I left them in my garage till the day the garbage men came to pick them up. I would like to think they could handle some rain but I don't know.
These are pretty much the same as what you'll get at the other bib box stores for about the same price, so having them at Walmart for me works when I don't want to drive all the way to the big box home improvement stores. Also similarly, they're a little fragile when opening them (they can tear at the top if you're not careful) and they need to be opened and shaped fully to be able to stand on their own to be filled. I've found that carefully cuffing over the top inch or so of the bag helps it stay open better.
I think most yard bags have a plastic liner within them to keep from tearing or falling apart when exposed to wet weather but I don't think these do because they tear easily just trying to shake them open which made it hard to fill with leaves. I've never had this problem with other yard bags.
I ordered a quantity of six (6) of these items. That is a total of thirty (30) bags. The person who delivered them to me gave me only six (6) bags total. When I pointed out the error they told me I was mistaken. I handed the bags back to the delivery person and directed them to take them back as a return, I refused the delivery. I have not yet received credit back for my purchase.
I've bought lawn bags from every big box store and these are single handley the worst ones. The bottoms have blown out of 7 of the 10 I've used so far. I do not get how they have so many great reviews.
