The movie is pretty good. It is the moral of the story, when all wish to work together, what can be accomplished, that I like.

Great movie. Awesome purchase, one of my all time favorite actors. Kevin Costner is phenomenal, awesome actor.

This movie is a classic in my collection, great price.

One of the best post-apocalyptic movies every made. Simple plot with predictable twists but also has some deeper undertones for the astute viewer. I personally enjoy this type of film for its entertainment value. I don't expect art, insights into humanity, or even complex plots. KK was his cool, what-me-the-hero self and played it well. The supporting actors hold up their roles and the rocker 'guest' appearance adds to the flare (for those that even know who he is). Direction and cinematography are great but certainly not going to win an Academy Award. Once you buy into the main theme that some people survived the fall of civilization, other aspects of the film have total credibility. Overall a fun film with the good guys (and gals) triumphing over evil. A nice escape from real life which is why I enjoy these flicks so much -- a psychological uplifting, positive tone in a post apocalyptic world. It's certainly worthy of purchase for repeat viewing if you resonate with the emotional themes.

The audio was absolutely terrible. Every loud sound, whether it music, gunshots or yelling in the movie was distorted and blown out. Made watching it a struggle. Sounded like an old bootleg version of a movie. Picture was fine tho - average blue ray. Gunna have to find a better version elsewhere - likely won't ever watch this one again because of the audio.

the DVD and boxing is great. however the sound is so low that i have to turn my tv up to almost full blast
